Certainly does. Looks like he did it yesterday.
-
You should have seen his face when I told him you’d just put it in 😂😂😂
-
There’s one one for sale on eBay for £23.19 delivered or if you want to get one and another for a spare maybe, not cheap either way These sell repro ones at €23 each https://www.gryp-3d.com/fr/234-CorradocarMats AP tyres broke one of mine but I didn’t notice till I was getting everything out of the van, tyre fitters and the like aren’t known for their ability to be careful with your pride and joy or the bits hanging off it.
-
Seen the bloke yesterday and he said it was 3 or 4 years ago since he done the last sunroof panel. He also did my last roof liner. As an update he’s doing my sunroof panel and roof liner for £130 be ready 2 weeks max.
-
Where did you get yours from and how much was it matey, does it have the option of a coloured sun screen across the top?
-
Says in the description they are VW items. I need the same seal as you so ordered the one off eBay. Generally they brake the plastic bits removing the screen.
-
3 or 4 weeks I think, he said he was going to get straight on it Then it will be a slowish rebuild as there are some things I want to put t to bed while it’s in bits.
-
No matey, previous owner fitted a schrick first then swapped that out for a supercharger which it still had bolted on when I a bought it. VR6 on here used to own it for near a decade and had a thread back in the day
-
Think it’s a 5” aluminium maf housing with definitely a K & N filter attached
-
Correct hence the carbon bonnet to do away with that.
-
Finally the guy I wanted to do the full glass out respray said he could fit it in, YES!!! Stripped and off for a respray, hopefully it will be all the same shade of aqua blue when it comes back
-
Not telling you how to suck eggs, but have you made sure the bolts that hold the bumper on are still tight, as they hold the front mount bracket in position as well as other things
-
Nice one Matt, when you said you couldn’t connect to the Ecu and mentioned water getting under the scuttle I feared the worst for you as well as electrical problems being notorious to pin down. Good to here it’s fixed after a few checks and your first shot at it.
-
Worryingly my computer will not connect to the engine module. I have a swg scuttle installed so need to get it off to get at the ECU to see if its corroded etc. I’d be under there first. I don’t think I could sleep until I’d checked out the Ecu

Normally £100 - £150.
-
So Kato why are you calling me Sean 😂😂
-
I will add though, hello and welcome & The front slam panel, bit with the headlights in, Is unique to model though because of radiator size and fan/fans. It does have only two holes for radiator brackets to suit the model
-
Speaking for the later ones If you’ve ever had different model ones and compared them they are all pretty much the same, the VR6 one just has a little bracket welded on. I just got a later one and welded my old ones extra bracket on. Moving on to the earlier models I’m betting if you get any early one you will be able to make it work for the G60 as they are pressed with a variety of holes not just 2 specific to your model

I would go with 205 x 45. If the tyre just catches the lips 195 might help but the ride will be harder
-
Agreed 205 would be a good fit on a 7” wheel. et 25 will be further out than standard, but you say your arches are rolled so you should be ok, I don’t think spacers will be required, if anything more rolling.

Welcome, get some pics up of your new money pit
-
It’s a complete pig to fit it as well. Getting it to go around the corners is a job for super thumbs
-
Well done that man. Vince says that signal from maf isn’t used until the engine gets to around 75-80 degrees. It’s using cold start map. So if it’s playing up and makes no difference unplugging the maf at that temp, I’d try a new one too.
