have you changed the blue temp sender?? It will keep the car in cold start mode if its dead

Where did you get the material to retrim your interior bits? I have a few pieces I want to do on mine. I would quite happily come for a chat as you're not too far from me. Any advice appreciated. May also have some bits off you to save me pulling my interior apart to trim it

these rings dont have to be perfectly straight... although it is desired. I think they can be got cheaply from GSF or similar. I left mine on and straightened them as best i could... hasnt caused any ABS errors and the system still works fine... your call really

Are the rain channels on the edge of the scuttle panel clear? Also the seal over the heater motor is that sealed?? apart from that i can only think of the windscreen seal

Glad Yan touched on the G60's. even a reasonably modified one can produce some respectable MPG, had a discussion with the other 2 that turned up to stealth R/R day. on a 200 mile trip to get there i managed 48 MPG... most of that spent following Charlies VRT. I believe Jon (JMC) was getting about 35 from his, althought he has had a fair bit more work done 1.9 bore out etc. There is also a 1.8 16V by me... bored out to 2.1 running bike carbs.. he recons about 40 MPG when running on V Power. So all in it depends on the work done AND a suitable map... even a stock engine with a re tuned map will return better MPG . Its really down to the health of the engine and how well suited the map is to that particular engine. I bet if 2 identical cars had been tested straight out of the factory their MPG would vary by a fair bit

Sorted the rust hole in the passenger sill repaired the massive dent in the same sill caused by a jack that gave out on me. Stone chipped and rattle canned it for the time being until i get the paint sorted. Next job refitting my stage 5 charger then sorting the rust on the rear panel

I've seen a few mk2s with this could be an after market mod tho. Also it is a passat that has them. Whichever one has the centre sun visor that clips onto it. I bought one on eBay ages ago and it had the visor attached... Was only after the visor too
