  1. My G60 is solid as a rock so something is amiss there
  2. Spotted a 'purple' VR on the A35 at about 1745... he flashed at me, was in a world of my own and didnt notice until too late... mine was the poorly looking aqua blue G60
  3. though i would add a couple of pics of the newest addition to the supercharged family  Was bought as a bit of fun...Triumph Rocket III and if you cant spot the charger yet  and for the super blind :bonk: im sure i saw a dyno print out in the box of reciepts for it approx 280 bhp ant the wheel if what i have been told is correct:dance:
  4. also early and late cars have different shaped rad supports and crossmembers... i got caught out by this with the cooler pipe for the power steering
  5. That seems about normal.... i cant think of any car that gives you full boost at part throttle

    supercharger.

what price you looking at?? I could get new parts made by a mate who does the engine work for Aston Martin racing
  7. Spotted eurospec's motor at matchams
  8. When my G60 left the factory on 8th August 1992 Snap - Rhythm Is A Dancer was No 1
  9. there are 2 or 3 listed on ebay at present... some of the history is a bit dodgy from my inquiries, but you may be able to get one cheap... would also recommend checking the german ebay for them
  10. read this thread... i put a step by step instruction for checking the fuel pump on it http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?58499-fuel-pump-filter-relay..-few-questions
  11. that sounds very much like a fueling issue. What fuel are you using?? also might want to check the seals on your fuel pump as these were the same symptoms i had a while back
  12. all the parts you may need should be listed on this image... just select the ones correct for your engine code
  13. ha ha ha... mine does the opposite... it protests if it goes more than a week without being washed
  14. this covers the one in the tank - lift pump. i had this exact same problem within 2 days of owning the car... luckily i was told about it and the car came with a spare pump. My symptoms were identical to yours when i got to about 1/3 of a tank it would no longer start
  15. I believe it was the early valvers that had analogue speedos
  16. sounds like the rubber seal in your fuel pump is perishing... this causes it to struggle to pick up fuel as the level gets lower. easiest way to check it is to lift it out and check. Steps are as follows: 1: remove boot carpet. 2: undo 3 screws holding fuel pump cover. 3: disconnect connector from sender (believe this has 2 wires on it) 4: remove both fuel lines from pump (if they are original ones they will need to be replaced with jubilee clips) 5: Undo large ring that seals the tank... may need to tap it loose usning a large flat screwdriver and hammer. 6: You should now be able to twist the pump to remove it. 7: look at the bottom of the pump the seal on the bottom should for a complete unbroken ring... if not then it will need to be replaced. If the seal is perished try to keep the car a full as possible and it will still be ok to drive until you can get a new pump/

    WTD VR6 Clocks

if its just the fuel gauge thats broken i have the internals out of my old dials. Unless you need to replace the whole lot
  18. that would possibly suggest that no.3 is running slightly lean and beginning to wear the rings... i would check your injectors too at the same time
  19. would suggest mailing hombre_paulo, he lives in branksome and i believe he still has all of the panels of his VR.... do believe it is blackberry tho
  20. i would like the front bumper, wings and bonnet if possible... mine are stone chipped to death and could get these painted whilst still using the car
  21. pipe now re-fitted, all others checked. Thought something looked odd... turned out i have a BBM RSR outlet on the charger instead of the standard silencer box :D
  22. Fitted my new sunroof motor... now have full back and forwards motion and tilt :) First aid kit is now in the arm rest... thanks skinnyman9000 for that. On a quick drive from the shops heard a loud pop and a near complete loss of boost.... feared my charger had blown up. Turns out the boost pressure (about 1.4-1.5 bar) had blown the pipe from my throttle body to the intercooler clean off the inter cooler end... will go fit that back on once its cooled down a bit
