I advertised them on here a while back but had no takers. They do look great, and it'd be no hardship putting them back in I suppose. I'll see what happens though and its not the end of the world if they don't sell.

Thanks Chris, wanna buy it??? :norty:

Bugger, sorry! Username is seanl-2007 I'll try to sort it out. :thumbleft:

Just a few parts I'm selling. I'll knock a few quid off for forum members if you contact me first. :thumbleft: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/seanl-2007/

Other way round mate. 1.8 head on 2.0 block, or alternatively just 1.8 cams in the 2.0 head with block. Good gains to be made by doing that. Don't think there is really much that can be done to the KR on its own unless performance cams are used, and major head work done.

Andy, lift the bonnet with the wipers on and check where the motor is situated. Check the linkages to see if they are rotating. That'll tell you if it's the motor or spindles that are gone.

Fair enough, agree to disagree about foam Jamie, but you're right about swirls being unavoidable 100%. That's where I think foam helps as the vast majority are inflicted by contact. Less contact with foam = fewer swirls.

I've seen pressure washers remove paint from bumpers before. I use one on my car, but I certainly don't get too close. It was a very nervous moment the first time I did it after paint though. Any poor prep will be unearthed pretty sharpish with a high pressure jet!

Snow foam just loosens the dirt so removes the majority of crap after rinsing. The less you actually touch the car the better, so you don't need to be very aggressive with your wash mitt to get the toughest dirt off. Snow foam is very good stuff, just a pity the lances can be so expensive.

I've found the best way when bleeding is to have the car jacked up at the front and do lock to lock a dozen or so times without the engine running, then again with engine running. Drop the car back down to the floor and repeat with engine running. Worked really well on both the cars I've done it on

It's like Americans I guess. Mike is very enthusiastic about it all, and at points it's a little cringeworthy. It gets on my nerves a little sometimes, but certainly not to the point where I'd give him abuse for it or rant off about him. Tim Shaw of car sos on the other hand!........

Sorry just checked Wayne, accelerator pedal rubber came from a t4. Advertised on ebay for Mk1, Mk2 Golf and caddy as well. Just think it tidies it up a little in the footwell.
-
I bet you only use it in the summer though Jamie. Its good when there are hosepipe bans and your car is just a bit dusty, or when you get to a show after a bit of a drive. The unsuspecting general public will be using this stuff in the depths of winter when the car is covered in muck and grit, and will think its great, scrubbing away with their asda sponge!

No they weren't there from the factory as far as I'm aware. I just put one there.

Early wings aren't as flared as later ones to account for the widetrack suspension. You'll need 92> although some non VR6 in 92 had the earlier exterior, so to be sure get 93 >. Ask in the breakers threads, and put a wanted ad up would be your best bet. Where are you based? I have one, although its not rust free unfortunately.

I've got one for my accelerator too. I think its from a T5 but can't remember exactly. I'll have a look into it after dinner Wayne.

Cracking spot Rog! I watched it and didn't see that! :thumbleft:

Mines classic green too. All red suit them perfectly IMO. Mine are pin striped, but you'll get the picture. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=79984&p=1054402&viewfull=1#post1054402

Nice Looking C! Won't stay that way long using that stuff though. How to swirl the shiz out of your paint in 3 easy steps! Lol

I've successfully repaired one in the past. You'll need to remove it and free off then grease the thread first. I then used araldite to repair the plastic holder/surround.

Not a fan of the deep black look personally. A light smoke is OK, but they are too dark for me. They're a lot of money if you're not sure too. Maybe try a tint film first to see what you think. Cheap Chinese stuff will give you an idea for the sake of a couple of quid, so if it were me, I'd try that first mate.

I don't personally sorry mate, I have no experience with the G60. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to advise though.
