1. The bite point on mine is probably further down the travel than I'd prefer, but hadn't really thought about it specifically until now. I've never tried bleeding mine.
2. Hi tomi, if these are definitely uk light pattern , I'll take them :)
3. Sorry, to add to that, shimming as you describe would only cure something if the slack is at the clutch end (ie fork bent). Which is only delaying the inevitable of having to drop the box and sort the fork. If the slack is elsewhere in the hydraulics etc then shimming will prematurely wear the clutch components, leading to dropping the box sooner rather than later anyway to change the whole clutch.
4. The clutch slipping would be as veedubbed says, the clutch not releasing properly. Which would over heat the clutch and put excess wear on the release bearing.
5. I did actually laugh out loud at that! :)
6. I can vouch for tomi too, I bought a set of wheels from him, arrived fast and as described/pictured.
7. I'll see what I can do with some more pics over the weekend.
8. If it helps, these are mine on side, dip and main (with uprated loom). The difference in colour for each side was playing with LED and halogen bulbs.
9. These were like the ones I bought http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CREE-Chips-H4-LED-Headlight-36W-6000K-3600LM-12V-Hi-Lo-Beam-Car-Headlamps-/131469773162?hash=item1e9c35896a
10. Sorry chaps, I'll sort the link out this evening :)
11. Oh, and obviously swapped out the halogen side light bulbs to Led ones as it looked pish with yellowy sidelights.
12. I'll pop outside in a few minutes and do some pics against the garage door. I'll dig the link out later to the bulbs. I bought from China but the ones that said they used the American made CREEs. Meant they were 35 quid delivered instead of 80 odd.
13. I have some fitted to mine. Very good so far. A few pics showing colour temp difference .
14. In real terms, how fast is this car? i.e. Does it see off M3, M5, AMG 55/63, Audi RS, etc. how easily? For me at the moment, I'm looking for something fast, and would sooner go unusual rather than factory fast. Cars like this VRT are seriously tempting, so trying to decide VRT or turbo/supercharge my GS430. Some real world comparisons might help me decide. Convincing the Mrs is a different matter, I can already scare the sh1t out of her in the VR.... lol
15. Any pics of the esprit? Funnily enough, an esprit is one of the contenders to replace my Rado with.
16. This is mine. I have a set of red, and a set of black leads, can't decide which to use though, so still using red at the moment.

Turbo?

There is lots of info and members on here with turbo'd VRs. Search for "turbo", "Vince" and "stealth" and you'll hit lots of results. From what I can gather, look for a £7k budget for turbo, internals, injectors, big brakes, etc.
18. As I mentioned above, is everything in the locked position before connecting it all together, sounds like something is out of sync of where it thinks it is.
19. Isn't there something about having the rods on the locked position before attaching to the actuator, or it can end up pumping from the wrong point? I'm sure it says something about that in the Bentley manual (that's at home though and I'm at work)
20. That's a blow :( Great work so far though, and will be worth it in the end :)
21. That's cool. Didn't realise the air shocks moved that quickly
22. Haha, quality, nice little vid B)
