Ever regretted a modification? (helpful guide perhaps)
CaiosG60 PWR replied to OSV's topic in General Car Chat
I suppose I kind of regret buying my RM's from super Golfs for £500. Mostly because I have never been able to afford phat outers and chrome bolts from them. Its torture not having them more bing!  One day though!! -
If the bolt isnt rounded then a good fitting socket preferably same sided as the bolt and a massive extension bar will do it. I used a 10ft piece of scaffolding as an extension bar to undo a hub nut!! The air impact driver I have couldn’t even undo it and its rated to 320nm. If the bolt is rounded then attack it with a grinder to square it off and use some good vise grips or sacrifice a socket and whack a smaller socket onto it with a lump hammer. :-) If its an alen head you could try whacking a oversized torx into it or again a socket or spanner onto the outside of it. Good luck!

Nice one Ben. Who needs great locations for photoshoots when you have found the best photoshoot location in the world, outside a Happy Shopper! Is that GLT’s reflection in the window, looks like he’s eating space raiders again?

Good kit on there Darren! 8) Good luck with it.

Havent got to the diagnostic stuff yet. :-) We can offer 10% discount to Corrado Forum members on all Sykes products that arent already on special offer. Its looking like the entire Draper range could be ready to be uploaded next week! I hope so, need to get everything on there! :-) :-)

I got a massive 02A Bentley gearbox manual PDF from there. Wicked site if you can find what your looking for. -
Nice! Do you have to keep the standard housing (although empty) in the tank to mount the fuel gauge sender on? Aren’t you supposed to go out and buy a massive turbo, get home and try fit it to you car with anything that comes to hand. Then worry about all this stuff later!!

SNS chip, I had a Jabba chip before and I've found the SNS to be better. SNS is a bit smoother and I got 216bhp RR figure with the SNS. I think they've improved the SNS since I got mine too. Must be even beter now. Then you should think about geting a front mount intercooler.

Looks like you'll be doing a lot more products Darren. Online ordering too?

Who's travelled the furthest for a car in one stint???
CaiosG60 PWR replied to H8RRA's topic in General Car Chat
N Wales to lands end in my old Scirocco Storm for the eclipse in 2000, was 10 hours non-stop. I think I did a fair few miles when I drove from Las Vegas to the Grand Canon. Did it in one day, but it took 7 or 8 hours I think. Drove that in a convertible mustang, unfortunately a fairly new one, would have been much cooler in an old skool Mustang. Longest journey in my G60 would have been Leeds to the G-Werks shed and back. -
yo Gixxer! Theres someone remarked on your car over on the shacktools forum.

Thats just the kind of thing I want to here!!!!

Desperately need to get the rest of the range up but entering everything into the database takes a lot of time. Yes a tool forum! Hopefully customers will use it to discuss technical problems, show off there cars/bikes/tractors/boats and discuss tools or ask questions about whether certain tools will be suitable for certain jobs. Once there more on there then well be using google adwords.
