Second 2 pics with the new wheels (8x17, 205-40-17) I prefer the arse to be a little in the air and a little higher all round than it was, current measurements are 590mm front (305mm centre's) and 610mm rear (320mm centre's). Rear tyres are nearly new and fronts are worn which gives the 5mm difference between front and rear.

First two pics with the old wheels (7x17, 205-40-17)and very low. I did measure the heights and seem to remember 580mm ish all round.

The only accurate way to measure, and the way vw measure is from the centre of the hub nut,to the lip of wing.I think clean the thread up and get people to put this measurement in.

VW state something like 340mm from hub to arch so if yours is 300mm then yours lowered 40mm etc

floor to arch front 530mm floor to arch rear 560mm

hub to arch front 270mm hub to arch rear 290mm

so my cars lowered 90mm front and 70mm rear

Cheers guys, keep em coming :-)

And Floor to arch, or fiddling about trying to guestimate the centre of the hub....I know which is easier, keep it consistent please.

Lukeage, thanks dude. They're BBS RX mate . Ride quality with Eagle F1 GSD3s pumped to 32 front, 30 rear is absolutely spot on 8)

Andy Brookes' rims look fantastic 8)
