Corrados and wet corners and hedges don't mix!

Recommended Posts

Look what happened on the way home from work............ :( :( :(

Absolutley gutted, words don't describe it. My poor car....

Walked out of it fine though, not a scratch, only nettle stings from crawling out. A testament to the safety of VWs if ever the was one.

Anyone selling a corrado as mines abit past it i think!

Bloody hell.. that must have been a major brown trouser moment. Gutted that its another Corrado gone but glad that you got out ok. Was just telling someone today that they're solid cars in crashes and stuff like this just goes to prove it!

I was going to ask for first dibs on the exhaust then saw your list of recent mods and thought it wasn't so funny anymore.

Very sorry to see what's happened but glad you are OK.

P.S. Can I have the gear stick and surround? :?

So sorry to see another corrado written off, you must be absolutely gutted. Really does go to show what they can take though.

Best of luck sorting everything out.

First wet spell after a period of dry weather .. no grip is to be expected. You have to take it easy out there boys and girls .. I was finding the VR spinning the wheels in 2nd this morning, without even really trying.

Nasty accident though, you were exceptionally lucky to get out of a rolled 1990's VW alive!

On the upside, I reckon that'll polish out! ;)

Ah mate, that's awful. I'm glad to hear you're alright though. I know what it feels like to write off a car that you love. Did the very same thing last April to my golf. If you've got any questions or get any grief regarding the insurance give me a shout. I work for an insurance company and if I can help in any way I'll do my best.

well slippery out there today, had a couple of "ooooo the steering has gone really light and the car wants to go straight" moments on a few roundabouts today, and that was taking it slowly!
