yesssss went for a drive today to warm up the oil ready to change it, driving through our local town there was police doing stops, i calmly drove up to it sat in traffic, one police officer walked behind the car and said to his pal, pretty rare these days, then the passenger side door opened up with his pal looking in and says you going tooled up mate? i looked into my passenger side seat and released i had spanners socket bits fire extinguisher the lot, i haven't drove it since i put the intake back on and didn't want to get 'caught short' i laughed at the copper and said just in case he said i love these cars got to be pretty rare now, i said yeah he said it looks good have a nice day and shut the door, by which time i was holding up traffic but i thought it was pretty nice of him to make the comment drove away with a smile

if the maf is fubar'd would you sell the mesh out of it, might need the down pipe too but will know more once its been for mot middle of feb ill pm you when i find out mate

buy a road bike for work and the corrado as a weekend/long journey toy, limit your mileage to reflect that and hopefully cheaper insurance?

don't jump in feet first, would be my only advice, i did, ended up doing a lot of jobs that could have been avoided if i had only took my time and let my head rule that said, I've loved every minute of ownership

haha our road for parking is a bit dodgy, even though it is perfectly legal for you to park anywhere on the road, it does annoy me when family or friends visit, and the fella with a 4 car family has them over his drive and outside my house so there is no parking, although to their credit if some one comes to visit for a week they will make a space for them, think it boils down to communication and a bit of give and take, my nieghbour asked if we could slightly adjust the way we park as it can become difficult to park on the driveways when the road is congested, i appeased him and adjusted, my pal, who came once parked up and the neighbour hung out the window and had a rant, simply got back in his car and parked it over his driveway! it was funny at the time, but a few uncomfortable months afterwards ;-)

take off the silencers, run it for a month when he complains again put them back on ;-) chap on our road (old again) his nipper goes to work on his bike 6.30am (my alarm for work was 6.50) every morning revving the tits off it instantly to 'warm it up' used to wind me right up so much i just started getting up at 6.30, told him it would do the engine no good to red line it from cold...looked at me like i was a halfords attendant speaking to a mechanic all weekend they will have bikes, cars, starting and stopping, revving, some nice vintage ones too, some not so, but i enjoy hearing them....in the day but you want to see they're faces when the vr6 starts! wait till that straight through goes on!

wont see it here either mate don't worry, think we are at 1.10 lowest, saying that we always pay more than most where I am has anyone thought about investing whilst its low

mines garaged but i have had a look at the indoor covers and someone on here suggested classic additions they look good... question regarding the bubble/cocoon things......if you go out for a drive and its wet/or it rains/or gets dirty.. i presume you have to wash it ect before it goes back into the cocoon?? or is it just a case of never driving it in bad weather

could put up a swap/deal in the classifieds if a vr is what your definitely after....

horses for courses, i really enjoy ud, all though a few years back (can't remember what year) it was snowing and that was a nightmare, if i had tickets and the weather was crap, i would personally give it a miss. think its been going since around 06-07, could be wrong, don't know what the show starter was before that, not sure how long early edition has been going, i didn't think that long...could be wrong again haha of the uk shows one i will definitely be going to is players, never been before and still looks good
