  1. Sorry, nothing yet. PM me for future chase ups yeah?
  2. You sure it's 3.5" mate??? Jetex only do 2.5" for the Corrado!
  3. You also might want to check the handbrake light switch itself. Chances are the handbrake handle has moved fractionaly and so isn't activating/deactiving the switch as it should. Bit of a pig to get to though - you have to remove the centre tunnel console
  4. To say I'm chuffed would be an understatement. Not cheap, but you can see why!
  5. Not yet - but shouldn't be much longer. Samco are a 'mare of a company... Good job the hoses are worth it...
  6. Def not FKs. IMO you get what you pay for, especially on suspension. These may be fine for 2-3 months but I bet after that you'll be wishing you hadn't bothered...
  7. Storm 2 - you're right, but there's a good way to avoid being stung - get it HPI'd. Anyone contemplating buying a VR6/Storm, especially one for good money is mad not to IMO. On a high performance 8+ year old car there's a high chance of a chequered past.
  8. Worth giving the set up a few weeks to settle. You will get some lowering only it'll be a very small drop. Let's put it this way a tape measure before and after will tell you more than any big visual difference.
  9. Matt, other the higher torque and lower peak rpm with the Schrick & remap, are there any other benefits to report?
  10. This is why BBS RMs were used on the Golf G60 and RZs on the C G60 - they're both 6.5" wide. RAs are 6" wide.
  11. Spring cups will help, but the most lowering you will get is 5 to 10mm tops. This may be enough - just don't expect miracles!
  12. But the GSD2 are available in 205/50/15. Personally found them excellent. Looking good Neil. Happy with the Miltek?
  13. Jim has pretty much summed it up AdamB. At the end of the day the Mk1 Campaign was very much like the Storm - few extras and a run out to signify the end of a special car. You can get better spec'd Corrados, but a Storm is the last of the breed. What you need to ask yourself is owning the last of them the most important thing for you? Unfortunately many poor/average examples of the Storm are priced artifically high just because they are Storms. Personally I'd rather have a "normal" VR and pocket the saving cos for me it's just a badge - the car is no different in real terms.
  14. Should do. Especially since it has been written off twice.
  15. I'm hoping so. Next trip to Stealth should reveal all. Yours is performing well enough. Did you have a remap done too?
  16. VDO do a dual pole sender that replaces one of the oil pressure switches on the filter housing. It has the switch and sender in one unit so making it a much more straight forward fitment with no need for a T piece.
  17. Is this the guy who bought the damaged car from you s7orm?
  18. Jedi The figures are academic really, it's all about how it drives. The VSR has transformed the torque characteristics, and the car feels alot livelier. I'm sure it's not producing loads of more power than before, but it feels like it is just because the torque is being produced were you need it. The max power was produced at 6034rpm, and peak torque at 5561rpm, although the main torque curve starts at 4400rpm.
