I flew up to Prestwick from Stanstead to pick up a Storm (Scirocco), still cheaper than driving it! Drove the 260 miles home on a Sunday afternoon. Was a very pleasant trip!

Disc on random this morning, got the classic "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life" by Indeep, what a classic bassline that one has.... Just to keep peeps in the know, the current issue is currently undergoing built 0.95 (in other words it should be ready by the end of the week to go to the printers) Most of the layout is done, just gotta speeel check it etc. I can only apologise for the delay (yes it IS issue 30 btw), various reasons for this, little boy coming along in Oct amongst other excuses. I was working on it at 2:15am yesterday to give you some idea. It's a mammoth issue just to keep you bating. Supercharged, which region are you in? The regions we've found tend to rely JUST on the regional host, without them the region falls apart. For instance, in the East Midlands we've had 3 regional hosts since the club started (what, 8 years ago) and I think we've only ever had 4 meetings, a couple of which only two or three cars turned up.

My old G60 used to do 130 miles a day (5 days a week) from Leicester to Sheffield for about 9 months, no problems whatsoever. It had done about 95k when I started doing that. Still never changed the blooming spark plugs {:-)

The only Corrados that DIDN'T have sunroofs were the very early (F and G Reg) 16vs and I think it was only an option on 8v ones.

Get a Vento (VR6) should be able to get one for about £2k in reasonable condition. Nearly as much poke as the Corrado, and bucket loads of room!

This was in the Mk II ... right...

Thanks for the input MusicMan (not the same Musicman on No-Rice are yous?) Anyroad I reallllly need a unit that will play FLAC, APE or Lossless WMA files from DVDs. I think I might end up building a PC unit to stick in the boot with a small screen in the dash.

One format NOT supported by Pioneer or any other player I can actually find is either WMA Lossless format or Monkey Audio (APE). These would suit me down to the ground, as I record a lot onto my discs straight from the CD at these lossless formats (in other words unlike most compression formats, they don't LOSE the data, they just compress it). So What You Put In is EXACTLY What You Get Out. Much nicer sounding. Anybody know of any that do?

I have to say that the Scorpion I had was absolute sh*t! It never fitted properly (even to the extent that it melted my rear bumper!) and when challanged about this Scorpion's reply was that my G60 had "an unusual body-kit on it" - which was complete bull as it was standard as the day is short.... Very dissatisfied with their customer services. I'd go for a SuperSprint (a bit pricey, but worth it in the end). At the end of the day, you get what you pay for on exhausts I've always found!
