My air box (inside) has seen as low as 8c today...Felt like a G60 on steroids recently with the cold weather. Neil.

Eek...I should probably mention that the quote was actually from MJ, who i suppose are regarded as one of the best in the Vw scene at least. Im a little undecided on whether or not to go ahead with it really, fallen out with the car lately but it would sort of get it 'that bit' more finished off and possibly get me buzzing about it again... But it will hardly add any real value will it? Unless i ever sell it or sell the car on e38 maybe? That's not the reason for having it done of course, but it's a lot of cash that you don't get to see again.

Here's the script... I have three 60 square ft leather hides, the leather is top quality and is supplied to the likes of MJ amongst others. Lets say I could supply this leather to a retrimmer along with a readily stripped rear bench/rear cards and the front seats/door cards. Does 1k sound reasonable to complete the job if im supplying the leather? I only ask as i've never had a retrim before, and obviously never had one done where i've already got the leather. Neil.

It's scraped the wheel/tyre edge :( Really fallen out with it again lately... Someone caught the front bumper, the damaged wheel...and just the other day someone has decided to scratch the drivers door FFS. Still had lots of things to do, Nitrous (half fitted), 4 branch and new pipewerx system...And i was supposed to have an interior retrim but that's gone t|ts up as well. Anyway, rather than blow money on a new exhaust, I picked up a secondhand magnex. Always liked Magnex for quality and subtle sound. Can finally replace the standard system which currently just has a decat fitted and actually sounds superb. Shame it's past it's best though, will fit it when i can be ar$ed... Done some more totalling up too here...

The KW's tend to get very good reviews, ill probably give them a go when i throw the FK's in the bin :gag: Neil.

Aye, he's a good lad 8) Bloody roads around his way aren't good for my splitter though  Nah...Easily manageable - Steadily away.

While the car is running, can you see any coolant going into the expansion tank via the small pipe? Raise the rpm a little to make sure that there is. If not, it may be the water pump that's failed. Neil.

If the back window is misting much more prodominently than the others, check your boot carpet around the rear lights/rear panel where the badges are. The badges can tend to let water in, as can the rear lights if the seals are a bit crispy/been removed and not reseated correctly before. Worth also checking the rubber boot seal, tend to split at the bottom where they join. Neil.

Hi Bex, I have to ask... Have you tried moving the dimmer wheel next to the headlight switch regards the dash lighting? Have the fuses been checked with a multimeter? Easiest way to check them if you don't have a multimeter is to, have a few spares of each ampage (10/15/20 etc) and starting at one side, pop the first one out and replace it with a spare. Check for any progress (things working) then move onto the next. Neil.

Good stuff 8) Hope you are happy with the product/service. :salute: It mainly seems to be Nissan primera/Honda accord owners that seem to have trouble with plastic covers for some reason. Previous customers also mentioned they didn't like the fact that dirt collects behind the covers and that they actually become stone chipped/hazy themselves. Neil. -
That would be great mate, pics/info along with what you are after appreciated. Neil.

I CAN'T BE AR$ED READING THE ADVERT, BECAUSE IT'S ALL IN CAPITALS.

Aye, we get a lot of customers who have ended up with damaged plastic covers. False economy. Neil. -
You do? For sale? Details please mate :D I don't need a head or pistons, but the bottom end needs to be damage free. Although, are you in Reading?

:? Or you can buy a light protection film built for the job, and used in motorsport all over the world. Lamin-X is absolutely nothing like window tint, it's a totally different product with totally different properties, both actual product and adhesive wise. Neil. -
Cheers lads... It's currently a bit unloved while i look for a new track car. Been a while since i modified anything, but the interior will be looking quite different soon hopefully. Neil.
