here is an update. i am going to be passing on the VR6 Turbo Syncro corrado that is for sale for $20,000. i have found another corrado that is almost just as nice. it is a VR6 Turbo corrado that is super clean and almost looks stock but has a lot done to it. here is the link: http://www.cars.com/search/used/cc/stan ... =&cid=null since this is in my price range i am willing to spend, i think i am going to get this one. i think i am going to have to fly across the US to test drive it, then have it shipped to my house. let me know what you guys think.

well, i got my reply from the guy about getting it for 16k. he said no way. since he is not willing to go any lower than 20k i am going to have to pass. that is a lot of money for a corrado.

yeah. keep in mind i am not one of those who use the word 'puss' in a sentence besides its actual meaning. im still waiting on a response from the guy. =]

people have been saying 'puss' as in the ooz that comes out of a nasty cut for a replacement for cool now. the english language is totally out of control these days. i will keep you guys updated on whats going to happen. i am still waiting on a message back from the seller. everytime i look at a picture of it, i want to get it more and more. =]

haha now it is all on the guy selling it. lets see if he is as easy to convince. =P

i think if he does take 16k i will go for it. i will sell the parts i dont like off of the car. make some of my money back. and i will have a 12 second car for driving. =]

engine, drivetrain, clean body (no dents etc), and a running car to drive.

well, i offered the guy $16,000 because thats the biggest loan i could get at my age and credit history. if he accepts that should i go for it? i would also be changing the wheels (to my black 16 inch race wheels), tail lights (to my solid black ones), i would be removing the 'wing' thing in the back (the stock spoiler works fine for me), and i would be changing the front bumper to have a more stock look and also to have turn signals in the front. (they are a california legal requirement) and i would also be changing the interior to black or grey cloth, and be putting in my momo seats. the look would be changing a bit. it is also the vr6 turbo syncro...

haha definatley not a stock corrado. =] i guess he had everything put in by professionals. everything on it is working perfect. and the interior and body look flawless.

i have seen people do corrado bumpers on MK2 jettas before, it looks pretty nice actually. i think i have seen people use MK3 fogs and dummy lights before on a corrado. i have seen racco lights on a corrado before. there are more things i have seen my mind is drawing a blank right now.

that would be so cool to have in my car.

just replace the flange, sensors, and orings and you will be fine. i actually just fixed my friends 2 days ago. your problems will be solved. its no more than $50 and a half hour to fix it yourself. =]

hey guys a tip i learned with the corrados is the vent right next to the ECU will get blocked with leaves and cause leaking on the passenger side (US models) and the driver side for you guys. check under the hood and under the rain gutters. make sure everything is nice and clean, take off the filter looking thing right next to the ECU and make sure there isnt anything in it. because if there is that is your problem. my car was leaking for a month before i heard about that 'normal' leak. it was also causing my car to be fogged up in the moring. just thought i would mention.

wow, that is a nice upgrade from the lame fragile stock ones.

yeah i was planning on having them be useless now that i have some nice seats in the car. i was thinking about removing them but i am not sure i want to do that just yet because i would like try and keep people from looking in and trying to steal something that i might have in the boot. maybe i could remove the lower portion of the rear seats so nobody can sit back there for sure. but still keep the top part to keep people from looking into the boot and to keep the noise reduction from the setas.

i picked up some new seats for my car yesterday. im waiting on the brakets. i will post you guys some pictures of my car soon. it looks pretty funny with no front seats in it right now. mmmm... momo... (just in case you dont know what seats im talking about, they are the black momo rookie seats on the floor infront of the blue armchair and fireplace, and to the left of the coffee table. the second posted picture is showing a logo on one of the seats.)

same thing happend to my G60. then the cable snapped when i was driving home. i would replace it as soon as possible so you dont get stuck. =]
