are the gains from this significant?
-
i feel shameless lol

I'm after something else - another Corrado - of the non-G60 variety - and so mine will go for sale if the one I'm looking into goes ahead. All jokes aside you're welcome to have it for a very reasonable and fair price
-
dude... not sure what to say. buy my corrado and let me get the one i want. it'll be a lot cheaper to look after!! ;)
-
are you selling? or thinking of selling?

Whats a ball park figure to get an engine bored out?
_leon_ replied to dirtytorque's topic in Engine Bay
it does sound like a lot of work... why are you choosing this over an already established setup? -
haha nice
-
I need to get a drive in this thing.
-
I have the 22mm front and 25mm rear, rear dampers set to stiff, front dampers medium - seems to cancel out a lot of understeer, rear follows the front very well. no complaints to be honest. just need stiffer springs to remove more body movement. also going to try braces next. and lose that oem rear bush set
-
looks the shizzle mate. good stuff :D from superb to awesome! ;)

Kev - you've given a very balanced and fair review there - as usual fella. :) I would still say to people to try both front and rear before discounting the front altogether. Keep the original item and return to it - you won't find out for yourself any other way. I've said this in another thread, Kev has given his opinion based on his own experiences and personal preference. By copying it you're just following his preference, that may not necessarily match your own otherwise. You'd be best to do what he (and others including myself) did and try it for yourself to see what works best for you. We don't all run the same setups unless everyone copies one person either... Just my 2p (and last time I'll say it!)
-
you have to try both - I don't believe its a case of what is better - its what matches your preference and driving style. I have tried the rear only then both front and rear - and (for me) having both is far better - the difference/improvement was quite noticable. try it for yourself

double thank you's :)[/quote:75ef0] you might get more advice by going onto http://www.dubforce.net for 1.8T questions

_leon_'s Corrado - R32/Gemini box now in progress

Cool - thanks for that! I've spent a fair bit of time around Edinburgh in the last 2-3 years - but I don't really know where things are and have been relying on friends to direct me to places etc. I'll get the hang of it soon enough probably. Its somewhat different to dundee where everything can be found/driven to in 10 mins. Once I wash the C yeah I could come over - its been used as a removal unit and a workhorse for the bikes at Glentress - so its a mess... I'm renting with a friend at the moment and selling my place in Dundee. Gutted I can't stay in the same place but thats jobs for you. I've not really spent much time looking at houses etc but went onto espc for a look around and got an idea of areas where houses are 'affordable'. I'm going to be working in the Gyle so would ideally like somewhere thats close® by... -

Yes I've moved to Edinburgh now - I'm renting in Broxburn at the moment - will find somewhere to buy soon I hope... Got a new job through here as I was bored of Dundee and the job up there. Miss it a bit but will get over it! -

The steering feels just as direct, but its the ability to retain composure through the corners without hopping around a bit and drifting - they're an excellent mod! Bushes - yeah will get those done soon - keen to remove all the play in the back end. Stability - yeah I had noticed it a lot when braking and cornering - like what we said above - S bends. Hmm I still want an Elise! I won't get rid of the Corrado - I just like it too much - but next year may get another car - been looking at others. Would love an S1 Exige as I adore them - but think an S1 160 or an S2 111s/135 would be the right car... -

front arb fitted - bloody hell what a difference. cornering ability is so much better. i honestly think its better with both. had a good hard drive with just the rear fitted, then the front and rear fitted - i think both is better... -
lowering when done right is on a good set of coilovers. so i would argue cornering when 'lowered' is more than 'marginally' improved

i hate chavs.

what are the old school bbs youve got in the pics on page 1?
