  1. 165? lol err... you won't regret the 215s - good profile and bags of grip
  2. trying to find where you can get yoko advans ad07s in 215/40/16s happy with my 215/40s
  3. Does the VR gearbox ratios suit the 1.8T engine? Interested to hear opinions/experience...
  4. i'm assuming that most people buying/trying them will have sorted some coilovers, tyres, geometry setup, perhaps arb's, bushes, top mounts etc...
  5. like the trimsport £120 one? I think most things for the Corrado are stupidly expensive. In comparison to Elise items (I was looking for a good while) - Corrado parts are generally expensive
  6. i'm loving the battle between the two - very happy for hamilton doing so well and pissing off alonso - likewise with above, i've lost a lot of respect for him this season - but enjoying the rivalry between the two!
  7. i think you might get scraping on the arches... your tyres won't last very long thats for sure!
  8. cheers for the pic :) is your car met black? how did you get on at the track day in them?
  9. Ben whats the new alu flywheel you've fitted/bought? Mind if I ask you what gearbox setup you're using (what its from, 02m/j/a/o/etc, changed any ratios, had to modify gearbox etc)... Tried reading through loads of pages to find out, but theres just too many!! and... whats the shift mech you're using in a vid on youtube - its got a numeric lcd display on it - looks awesome - tell tell... any info appreciated :)
  10. for sale? ;) 6lbs is err lightweight yes! flusted, you modified your now corrado g60 pretty bl00dy quick didn't you (just read your sig)
  11. A few shots of the car wit the wheels/tyres on - then a few of the profile of the tyre/wheel would be superb :) What trackday are you going to? Been in a golf with these tyres on and the owner was very pleased with them.
  12. they look great. and like the Mo's I'm going to get. Trying to find out what ET I need to run AP's behind them. Want black too - actually your car reminds me of my own (in VR form). What tyre size did you go for? Could you do 2 things mate? 1) Take a pic with the black speedlines on, and 2) tell me how you get on with the 15"s and R888's fitted on tuesdays track day please? Very interested indeed how you get on and how those look on your car!!
  13. my central locking/alarm. no end of problems with it.
  14. Rob - can I ask what the hassle you had was? Waiting for parts? Something else?
  15. 7.5x16 ET 30 with 215/40/16s or 7.5x16 ET 30 with 205/45/16 are the usual combos
  16. brilliant thread - enjoying the updates. few q's: * how long did you have to wait for the samcos? * how much were the pedals - where did they come from - are they super grippy? * where did the pipework for the cam cover breather to the catch tank come from? I hate the std black cover and pipe... * the polished boost pipes - again where from? * going turbo?
  17. interesting read. its turbo the PG block vs 1.8T for me...

    New Radiator

it should be easy to change yourself
  19. R888s are only available in stupid sizes like 205/55/16 - why!
  20. thats more than i found! cool. i was trying to find rainsports, potenzas and r888s. not sure what else on that list are good tyres - any suggestions?
  21. The 15 speedlines look good on the corrado. Bit bored myself of the RXs, although they do look good. 15" is easier to find tyres for than 16". But prefer the look and feel of the 16"s tbh. 16" Mo's for me i think still
  22. a friend disagrees - but a few minutes looking shown me quite clearly that 17" wheels have all the options...
  23. I find the tyre choice for 16"s is terrible. Worse than 15" or 17"
  24. got a similar fault too... Honestly - I never stop having to fix the central locking system! When locking the drivers door - all locks ok with C/L. When un-locking the drivers door - C/L is bypassed and only the drivers door locks. Despite replacing that handle within the last 2 months. The second dead locking (is that the correct term) kicks in locking both doors again anyway. Locking/un-locking via the passenger door opens/closes both via the C/L. I have one other annoying issue - the C/L is no longer activated via the alarm fob now. I don't have a clue what to check. Don't want to hijack a thread - but does anyone on the side know what this may be or what to test/try? Thanks!
