never above 3k before it hits 86C... but, it does get driven in cold mornings regularly

engine mounts have all recently been replaced. like within the last 2k miles. have had 2 suggestions - driveshaft? fuel area... i know that doesnt help - but i don't know any better so hoping someone here can give me some ideas!

it was serviced in December - about 6k miles ago at g-werks. i did an oil change 5k miles ago and used the synta silver semi synth that VAG sell. what is the best course of action now??

OK, Much to my horror, I have noticed there is a slight oil leak/run from my supercharger. Its coming from the top left (when installed) under where the plastic cover sits over the charger's own belt - you can see this from the pics. Theres enough that seeped to run down the side - as also can be seen. On inspecting both pipes, they seemed relatively oil free - apart from the usual. Can anyone tell me whether something is up or what needs done pls?? Thanks

When I am at low revs and either put my foot on the accelerator or remove, theres quite a harsh shudder - esp on decelerating... Is this something to do with the fuel pumps? Thanks

good stuff - though I am surprised! my car failed last time and the blowing exhaust was picked up. i was hoping for an advisory too - but nope! count yourself lucky son ;) kidding

I have got an FK style grill from ebay - only thing is it doesn't fit my slam panel. There are 3 pins on the grill and only 2 available holes for them. Do i a) buy the right grill (where do i find it?) or b) give up as there isn't one that'll fit? Thanks

is there any difference between the ones g-werks, pit stop developments and bahn brenner offer? not in price, in shape or other functional factors? thanks

welcome. since november i have managed to spend near 3K on my g60 and i still look at it and think, bah its hopeless, still soo much needs done and it can still look soo shabby. But, when its running good - i dont care. see it out - you can;t be far off now. and all the changes you've made could easily introduce problems, so let things balance themselves out ;)

dont loose hope yet - youve come a long way with it to date so hang in there. a few more problems sorted and you'll above water. sorry cant help you but maybe worth getting a garage you can trust to sort it out for you and be done with the problem?

nice. i just used an oil filter wrench -
just dribbles... so i'm guessing my muffler box (sounds rude!) could be to blame. Still for all the cost of a new line I may as well fit one. Thanks for the help!

I have just gone for another inspection. Theres traces of oil inside the boost pipe coming from the muffler box (rsr on order tomorrow) - so would that suggest that oil is actually getting through the feed pipe into the charger? And that perhaps it is just my muffler box leaking and spraying oil? I'll change it anyway, but curious to know opinions! thanks

yep its the oil feed to the charger hose... should i see any oil around that area?

It seems my oil return line to the charger is leaking oil. I have been monitoring the surrounding area and it definately seems its coming from there. The banjo bolt is tight though, any ideas? I am positive its not from the muffler box - although it is the cause of the boost leak right now. Anyone recommend anything to check over? Thanks :)

In 5th gear - 70mph at 3000rpm, so yes about 2600-2800 approx at 60mph.

i had some noise coming from the exhaust manifold and it was a missing bolt on the head studs. it sounded like a blowing exhaust... likely not the cause but perhaps worth a check
