i went shopping a couple of weeks back with friends who have a baby due in two weeks we went to mamas and papas who where only too pleased to try different seats in thier car to see what fitted best you dont have to pay thier silly prices just find the one you want and buy it online instead but it will give you a good idea of what fits :) best one i have seen has to be the recaro start child seat but its only for 9 months to seven years iirc meant to be one of the safest availiable (its the only fia approved child seat i know of and it has speakers in the headrest 8) about £170 iirc

hmm if they are getting quite rare i might be removing mine before some scrote does it for me
-
not unreasonable just very unlikely   might be worth having a fiddle when it comes back from repair most places have a policy of 3 repairs = replacement thats what i did with my phone

pioneer and alpine used to do these TRANSPORT ONLY head units years ago and they still might quite expensive iirc, but the quality was far better than an all in one system no internal amp circuitry but the case was still full inside using bigger higher quality components you can turn the internal amps off in my pioneer and yes it does run much cooler but i am running my fronts of the head unit at the moment due to a lack of a spare amp total car audio magazine is a good place to look usually covers the higher quality (and price unfortunately) end of the car hi fi market or try e-mailing them for advice i have a couple of times and had my e-mails printed in the mag as well

in my experience it usually sounds awfull when run from high level outputs you could just try having an external earth to the phono screen and ground it to the head unit casing really expensive audiophile grade phono cables use this method or sometimes have a seperate screen covering both cables which is grounded at one end try your local home hifi specialist there is no reason not to use home phono cables as most of the ones you get from the likes of halfords are not up to much (usually cheap crappy phono cables with thicker insulation to make them look expensive) the same goes for speaker cables i used QED silver spiral something like 50% silver copper mix and a damn site better than the crap from halford and maplin and you can get it in a 4 wire type (neater and quicker to run down the car) and it does make a noticeable difference

just had mine done at demon tweeks after changing the shocks, £35 for digital laser alignment track and camber which i thought was quite cheap feels soooo much better now, had a full set of toyo's fitted as well £32 each all in so the handling is great now it feels like a smaller lighter car and sticks to the road like a limpet they managed to get the readings allmost spot on all within 0.2 i think

i think the pupose of amonia in t-cut is to deep clean the paint, which i suppose would work at first but like you say will start to bleach the paint t-cut is just a quick fix and i have never used it since using it on my old mr2 which looked terrible after a few days of using t-cut on it, the paint oxidised and went pink very quickly :( dazzyvr6 the chemical plant i mentioned is just down the road from you, flexsys(formally monsanto) its not the amount of amonia thats the problem its the fact that it stays on the paint if you give it a good wash and then wax or resin polish it should be ok but why remove a layer of paint if you dont have to??? i know a guy who works at frank williams(f1) private garages and they have the polish formulated for each paint colour (not cheap) might try and hasle him for some  you cant beat a good wax-resin IMO
-
turtle wax colour magic usually gets the colour back on my tornado red g60 and then i give it a good polish with auto glym resin polish which lasts for a few weeks and sometimes wash it with some of that wash and wax stuff which seems to keep the colour stable works for me anyway :) i avoid using t-cut which contains amonia as amonia causes paint to fade(found this out when a local chemical plant had an amonia leak and a few cars in the plant car park had to have the paint restored profesionally) its worth checking any polish for amonia as it works at first but can accelerate paint fade after a while most wax or resin polishes are usually ok best stuff i have ever used was teflon based but i cant find it anywhere now and i cant remember what it was called but the finnish lasted for a couple of months

the MOT is quite a comprehensive vehicle check the brakes, steering, tyres, wheel bearing play, emmisions, headlight alighnment and more are all checked oh and you sometimes get some spanner monkey whacking your chassis with a small hammer to try and find any rust holes  my brother moved to canada and couldnt belleive the amount of cars that where basically rust on wheels and where actually legal to drive he said most people over there just buy a car and drive it untill it falls apart  oh and dont use radweld i found that out the hard way when the radiator on my bug had to be replaced as some of the veins got blocked by radweld

i have a set of those easy out stud extractors they should work ok, i have only used the smaller ones to extract broken exhaust manifold studs on my old mr2 and im not sure the biggest one would fit a spark plug it would only be a case of using a socket on an extension bar the right size for the stud extractor so it shouldnt matter how deep they are and it would probably be worth drowning whats left of the thread with a releasing oil to let it work its way into the thread overnight the set of extractors only cost 10 quid

its not a good idea to redline a g60 specially if its been chipped and pulleyed the chargers have a habit of going bang  i get about 30 mpg out of my standard g60 on average running on bp ultimate :( it shouldnt kick out of gear if you redline it should just cut the power there could be a gearbox problem or it could be worth checking your engine mounts as too much engine movement may cause it to jump out of gear but i could be wrong :?

Hearsay and Darius?????? there might be people on here that listen to them but i doubt they would admit to it

I aint a Floyd fan but that's in my collection & has to be one of the best video albums ever :D i have allways sort of liked pink floyd since i was in school when my dad used to play a few of the albums i saw about 5mins of the conveyor belt scene from the wall at a mates house about 2months ago and i just had to buy the dvd because scarfes animation is just superb unfortunately my dad now listens to dance music all the time (quite odd considering hes 54) im only 23 and most of my mates just dismiss floyd as "old mens music" quite a few tracks have been re-mixed by other bands recently but IMO you cant beat the originals if you havent listened to a floyd album before i can definately recomend echoes the best of album as it covers most of the styles floyd went through
-
in the cd changer pink floyd..... echoes orbital........... the alltogether dust junkys ....done and dusted chemical brothers... best of royksopp....melody a m james....laid in the dvd changer pink floyd....... the wall sneaker pimps .....the videos chemical brothers.... the best of blur ....the best of independance day a clockwork orange 8) james.... live in manchester back to the future trillogy 8)

i dremmeled the original bulb holders for the leds to fit as you cant buy the rgb leds in a holder as they have four wires to each led tonight was the first time i have seen them while its properly dark and i think they look great the red digi looks like a 1980's casio led watch very retro 8)
-
yep the only difference with an led is that it lights instantly when you power it up and turns off instantly when you remove its supply unlike an incandescant bulb which fades on and fades off leds also use much less power 8)
-
LED's dont just work on and off the normal dash dimmer still works with them 8) . the rgb leds i got where from ebay as they where half the price of the ones from rs components and quarter of the price of the ones from maplin and they arrive within two days 8) .
-
only cost 10 quid to do and i didnt have to modify the dash at all as i fitted the led's into the bulb holders im going to do the rest of the dash lights as well this week should look nice
-
rgb leds they can produce any colour including white light. 8) i wired them through a 12 position rotary switch to get the different combinations i like the purple dials with red digi the most thanks to henny for the inspiration by the way :D
-
after seeing henny's dials on here i had an idea now i can change the colour at the flick of a switch what do you think?? (those bright spots only show up on the photo it is perfectly even normally)

the fuel pump supplies more pressure than is actually required and its output is restricted by the fuel pressure regulator to the required amount of fuel for the engine so giving it a better supply wont make any difference as the engine can only take a certain amount of fuel (without mods like bigger injectors etc...) you would probably be better off making sure all of the engines earth points are healthy and maybee replacing some of the earth straps to make sure the ecu has a good supply and cleaning any vital connectors and giving them a coat of petroleum jelly or vaseline to stop water ingress relaying the fuel pump is pretty pointless as its just another thing to go wrong really.
