  1. AFAIK - the profile of the front wings is very slightly different. Early bonnets don't line up properly with the later wings - not sure about the other way round though.
  2. Apparently I'm not authorised to view the homepage !! FYI - CCGB member no.2276 I'm usually a strong advocate of the CCGB, however this ongoing website problem is now becoming a "situation".
  3. Tyre pressures & wheels bearings can also make a difference..
  4. JoeNose, only 1 flaw there m8 - it's an Alfa.. :pukeright: I agree about the Merc connection though - they handle like barges, fast barges but still barges !!
  5. jimsG60, Is this being developed with Mercedes ?? http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... 608#234608
  6. Rustynuts, Doing the exhaust manifold alone will yeild very little in the way of BHP. It will, however, enable the engine to breathe more easily & you'll get much more benefit from any further mods that you do.
  7. Welcome aboard Sarah.. :thumbleft: I removed your email address from your first post. As has been said before, this is a public forum & your email may get "spammed" if you display it openly.
  8. I'd start spending money flowing the exhaust manifold or fitting a 4-1 first, cylinder head next & work forward from there.
  9. It'd be ideal for me - I use my no-claims on my other car. Any contact details for this insurance company ?
  10. I've been aware of the forthcoming release of these headlights since just after christmas & it may still be another couple of months before I can get my hands on a set. Unfortunately, I won't have much more concrete evidence as to how good/bad they are until I can get a set fitted to my car. Once I'm happy with them, I'll place an order for more sets.
  11. G60Dan, I'll be getting my throttle body back in a few weeks, when I get chance to collect it - I'll post a piccy.
  12. If they're the same lights, which I suspect they are, InPro are just marketing them & not making them.. Sounds like too much of a coincidence for 2 different companies to start making these at the same time. These lights should cost a fraction of the InPro price, as we're cutting out the "middle man" & buying direct from the manufacturer.

    fuel pressure

Even though they both use the same 4bar pump ?
  15. My main idea behind the lights is that they're very likely to be much brighter than the very dim, standard Corrado ones...

    fuel pressure

The fuel pumps get a little tired with age. G60's use the same 4bar pump as the VR6's. Most G60's will still have the original pump - 12-14 years old !! I'm fitting a new pump on mine as part of the rebuild - I'll keep the old one as a spare. If you replace the pump - be sure to get the same make as the one fitted. The Bosch pump uses a different level sender to the Pierburg one.
  17. Yeah - could do with a refurb though. I can include a full head gasket set with it. Cheers m8 - my g/f likes Corrados & doesn't mind me using the dining room ...

    fuel pressure

G60's use a 4bar fuel pump with either a 3bar (std) or 3.5bar (uprated) FPR.
  19. Got most of the engine back together this weekend. Didn't have time to finish it as I had to replace the head gasket on my diesel "shed" on Saturday.
  20. Maybe this will help :- 0332 019 151 = 5 pin fuel pump relay 0332 209 151 = 5 pin starter relay Unfortunately, we stock neither. :(
  21. I sent an email to the manufacturers today. My plan is to get a set for my car to test them & see exactly how good/bad they are. Based on the results of that, the manufacturer may need to make some changes to them. These lights are a completely new product & I would prefer to properly "test" a set first. :D I'm not sure if they're sealed beam units or will have replacement lenses available. The first set will come with our next order & may not arrive for a month or two. I'll then have some definite details as to the quality, brightness, fitment, etc.
  22. Hopefully they won't be too expensive - I don't have a price yet though. Nor do I have any other details except for the picture. I'll be emailing the manufacturer next week for some more info. I'm definitely going to be having some for my G60. I was a little undecided at first but after seeing the photochops, I like them.
  23. I have absoloutely no idea at all wether we do the seals or not - I'll have a look on Monday.
