unfortunatley my USB port is broken, the top metal clip fell off, so was hoping I might be able to text the pics to mod to put up? the car is still in the garage, will be done for this weekend tho.

still not working, keeps opening it in word pad, looks like I will have to update the old acrobat...thanks tho.

My VR is for sale! and at a very good price, 100% original, looked after very well indeed, I wouldn't of bought it if it had been remotely thrashed. :wink:

Err, don't think a C looks better then a E46 M3, but I still love mine anyway, and cost me less than a tenth of the price! I expect the 330D is still fun to drive, it is RWD, well balanced, good steering.

I agree, but is yours @9psi? because obviously the VR is n/a out of the factory, was thinking the internals are not designed to take boost of FI. But 9psi sounds like a nice low.safe level. And is 290bhp very useable on the C's fwd? It does seem the way forward... sorry to hijack thread.

yea, don't have it on mine, but with the 268cams is a bit of a beast, depends if you want to stay n/a or not? Kevhaywire is the best to talk to tho, what he dont know ain't really worth knowing as others will probably tell you! LOL. Or do a search,numerous threads have been raised on the subject.

don't think I know of that accord, been in the i-ctdi tho which is nice. Yea, get the cams&vgi on there if you want to make it into a bit more of a monster! 8)

Is 3rd gear quicker in a G60 then a VR then? probably makes sense as it is closer ratio, but can't go from 25-125 in 4th, LOL :lol:

yea thats the new twin turbo 3.0D, 272bhp, and remaps to soemthing like 350bhp and 500ft lb of torque! LOL, think they did a review of the DMS one in EVO and they basically said it was nuts! Should be in the new 3 series aswell!

what reg was it? after 03 is 204bhp version, I doubt if a VR could keep with one thru the gears, I had one caught me off guard, I was only doing 50 in 5th tho and he was gone by the time I had even decided that I would catch up with him. Plus if it's been remapped, it will have 400ft/lb of torque! LOL, this will probably have to be my next car I think.

When I was a teenager I ahd an Aprilla RS 125, was the quickest thing I could get at that age and it could shift alright. Some guy pulled out in front of me one day when I was doing about 30mph, scared the crap out of me, my shoulder was fcuked for about a month and he had a huge dent in his car. They are much more exciting then cars but too dangerous for my liking, it's the other drivers you have to watch out for, as was mentioned.

I'm sure it's pretty mental to drive but really does nothing for me in the looks department.

Have to agree, I do think a VR may keep with a rev 1/2 turbo tho, as aren't there perforamance figures quoted as running on 100 ron? being a Jap import. But rev 3/4/5, it's see ya! I'm still quite tempted to get a rev 3 Turbo myself, bit boy racerish for my liking tho. I pulled up in Clacket lanes services the other week, on a saturday lunch time, and there were two right behind me, they were heavily modded, super dragger exhaust or whatever it's called, really loud with atmospheric dump valves. LOL

oh the forum, has helped me get thru hard times in life I tell ya, always nice to come on here and read peoples jokes and stuff. Fond memories of my old man and g/f saying "your not on that forum again are you" LOL.

Ever since watching back to the future, I wanted a Corrado, but in 85 it was a Scirocco, I remember seeing an early VR in my street when I was about 14 and knew I just had to have one some day. I haven't really been a big VW fan like most people on here. I have owned lots of makes of cars and a few hot hactches before getting the VR. For the money there is very little competition. The only coupe I would cosider swapping for is an S14A.

yea, different people have different priorities and standards, where Im happy with my £140 set up, LOL, others hardcore audio heads will find it not so good. I do have a good ear and apreciate good quality sounds, which is why my home stereo is a good set up, with top quality connector leads and speaker cables. Call me a grandad but I don't really like music in my car too loud so I wouldnt apreciate a good set up as much probably.

I used to do I.T Recruitment, I was fairly good at it, made a fair bit of cash, but really not my cup of tea at all. I would love to try automotive journalism, it's just getting a break. BMW tho, you could of done a lot worse! An aquaintence I nkow has an E46 M3, took me out in it as he knows I like cars, Gees! he was driving it hard but my gosh, the thing makes my VR seem slow! it really is a nice car, really fast. You can prob get an 03 spec 330D for about £18k tho, go to DMS, and you have 400ft lb of torque!
