  1. i think there about £1250 but then you need to add vat on top of that so its a huge saving in the group buy.
  2. Heres the original group buy thread. http://www.vr6golf.co.uk/forum_viewtopic.php?2.4793.180 Must....resist......
  3. Ive seen this come up somewhere before, apparently the g-lader doesnt flow enough for the 2.9litre engine. You would have to fit 2 of them and then you would have double the losses from the chargers making it very expensive for not a lot of gain.
  4. Quaife diff, no longer have to worry about wheelspin at junctions every time the road is remotely slippy. 8) The wipers and headlight loom are great as well but i had a C for over 2 years without them so kinda got used to poor visibility.
  5. Ordered 8) , James said thats about 11 orders so far.
  6. Ill back up everything PhatVR6 says, you really dont know the difference/improvement it will make until you try one. 8)
  7. 8) , should get mine ordered tommorow or later today.
  8. Didnt 16vg60 have something like this, brembos on the front and his old fronts on the rear? I seem to remember he done a kit but it wasnt cheap.
  9. My cousin had the wheels on his jag refurbed at Hazelwoods, havent really looked at them in detail but will check them out through the week. I have seen wheels refurbed by auto image (I think thats what there called) on South Street and they looked pretty good.
  10. Yip, I removed the passenger seat, rear seat and the rear side panel, ran the power feed down the side then the phono cable down near the centre tunnel and havent had any interference problems at all. if you buy the basslink from the link in this thread you get a free wiring kit and the phono leads also have a wire between them that I used for the remote switch on
  11. You need a switched from the head unit as well to turn the amp on as well.
  12. Maybe its just the janks that get the 3.6 final drive, which would kinda make sense because all the 0-60 and quarter figures that get quoted for the 2.8 slc are similar to our 2.9.
  13. Well thats a right boot in the balls, was reluctant to go for a 3.9 when I got my diff done but if id known standard was a 3.3 I would definately have changed it for a 3.6
  14. Mines in the same as jims. I reckon it would fall over if it was upright if its only velcro holding it. Wheres everyone got there bass controler, I took mine apart and mounted it in the blank beside the headlight switch. 8)
  15. http://www.middlelanemorons.com/
  16. Theres a big difference between a corrado vr6 and a golf vr6, more powerful 2.9 engine and different final drive in the gearbox making it a good bit quicker.
  17. So did mine, and its black. :-P
  18. Have a look at this thread. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... ght=galaxy
  19. Mines the same as yours Henny, think I got it from the same place too with the free wiring kit. 8) Im pretty sure Jims is an Infinity Basslink X, same except the case.
  20. It sticks to the carpet ok. 8)
  21. Mine is now in the same way, I put some velcro on the back support bars as well to secure it to the seat. Seems to stay in place so far...
  22. Sticky back velcro, as brookescourt mentioned. jims16v, is it just the hook side of the velcro gripping to the carpet or have you got velcro stuck to the carpet as well?
  23. 8) , when I done my 16v I didnt bother putting the screw back in, I figured the disk was held tight enough with the wheelnuts anyway. Ive got the backs to do as well, the bearings and winding back the piston seems straightforward enough but do I need to loosen off the handbrake or anything? :?
  24. Had a look about on bentley and it just says to remove the fluid cap and push the pistons back as normal.
  25. that only shows how to move part of the caliper... the bit with the pads...there is still a bit covering the discs.! Ah, just noticed that, I was thinking of another car. Pretty sure its just 2 bolts at the back (17mm's maybe) and the carrier lifts out the way as well. i really dont want to go to the hassle of bleeding the brakes afterwards to be honest. looks like i may just pay someone to do it after all![/quote:7d6c2] Im not 100% on this so if anyone else knows for definate feel free to let us know, ive got this job to do soon as well.
