Looks like a really nice base, i'm sure it'l look stunning when dropped etc, and i'm a speedline/blue raddo fan anyways so i'm biased!
-
Mk 2 8v's are great fun in 1st and 2nd :D
-
I'll ask my missus when she gets home, she had this problem the other week..
-
Hard to tell, but from the brief description...about £2k?
-
lol....yeah, nearly enough to buy another raddo...

Three grand for insurance??? Insurance must be cheaper where i live, cos all the taxi drivers round here drive like pr1cks! When you're 19, driving a 1.9 tdi with pulic liability for 4 passengers to the value of £1m each, you'd be suprised at how many insurers don't want to know at all..let alone for less than £3k!! .. So granted, i used to pay a bit more than most, but still...the insurance is high, so they won't want to claim...also, alot of the time taxi drivers are driving 'the boss's ' car and don't want to get into trouble so just sort it out thmselves. so you're actually getting younger then walesy? only 13 now...... can i have your C when you get too young to drive please? :) LOL..nah, 13 is my mental age  , i'm 26. And as for raddos, I ain't got one at the min :(

It could also be your handle playing up...I also had that once, it started doing all kinds of strange things, sometimes it wouldn't open the fuel flap , or the boot , etc etc and it got worse and worse. When the handle got changed it was sorted. I think it may be something to do with the barell itself?

I used to pay over 3 grand a year for my insurance as a Taxi driver, the last thing you want is a claim.

With regards to going around cyclists i've always been wary too, they aren't the most stable of vehicles! I remember my driving instructor telling me that's it's always better to go over the line, than over the cyclist....a rule i've tried to stick by  .
-
I dare say you had the boot/door lock in the wrong position to begin with and have now got it in the right position through messing around with it, I remember doing the same once. Glad it sorted!

There's a stretch of the M5 that has chevrons painted on the road with big signs saying " Keep 2 chevrons apart " ... a good way of makeing people think about the way they're driveing I think.
-
Like gradeAfailure says, the lock needs to be left in the right position for the C/L to work, failing that, maybe the vacume pipe has come off?
-
Ahhh go on, you'l be alright, just don't go anywhere the 'Ripspeed' section... It's basically double sided tape, but it's good stuff, I used it for my g60 badge and it didn't come off etc
-
Get exterior trim tape from hellfrauds....that should do it
-
Gotta be said, i'd much prefer one of those to a clio.

I'm not into these gearboxes, i've driven a ferrari 355 F1 with the paddle shifters , a 5 series beemer, and my mums schitty ford has it also and i've not found any of them any good. I'd rather a manual. However, the thought of the pisshat V6 Syncro is rather appealing..
-
I don't think i've been at one set of lights that has 2 lanes since i've been down here  ...in fact , apart from the A30 I don't think there are any roads with more than 1 lane...not much chance for raceing at the lights

Yeah , 16's would be better. It's hard to recommend wheels, as they are a personal preferance typa thing. I had rims that most people hated with a passion, but I liked, so it's difficult to say. I would always prefer to have something a bit un-usual rather than a set of BBS for example(( although I do love alot of BBS )) And I would always prefer to have 15's on aswell. I think your car looks lovely as it is..nice and standard (( with the obligitory drop ))
-
Keep your speedo's man, don't go down the boring old 17" 5 spoke route! Have you driven a raddo on 17's? Or at least get something with a dish

Awsome! I used to really dislike red valvers, and due to cars like this over time i've completely changed my mind to the point that i'd actually like to have a red'un. DON'T BLOODY SELL IT!!!
-
It's working perfectly for me?..how weird.

...then you must have been banned...? :?
