LOL..yep, my mum had them ( I think as standard ) on the car she bought a couple of years back and now she's looking for a replacement she won't have a car without them.

And what does it look like from the rear? I assume you have to mount the sensors? My mum has this on her car and finds it really usefull.

I reckon you could get more than £2k for it , if you found the right buyer, for instance , there isn't a day that goes by that my wife doesn't harp on about wanting a purple 16v, and they're quite a rare colour, if we were in a position to buy we'd pay for the right car. It's a lowish mileage lateish valver, maybe you'd get £2.3k if you weren't in a rush for the money.

..New sig for VR6 me thinks.... *dons flamesuit* I have to agree with St Haywire there, i've not ever had any speeding points and have covered silly amounts of mileage, out of my circle of friends i'm the only one that has never been done having done 10 times the ammount of driving and I put that down to one thing, the fact that i'm more observant than them... :lol: :wink: . There's nothing wrong with putting your foot down as long as you do it in apropriate circumstances, it's usually those that are driving too fast in areas that they shouldn't be ( stretches of road that have cameras for example :wink: ) that get done.

Hmm.. Ever since I was 18 i've driven high powered(ish) cars, i've had diesels before but all newer Tdi's and they were great, so I think you may be right about it being the standard 'sluggishness', going from a fettled G60 to a diesel is a big drop in BHP , 180BHP to 65BHP :(

blackcat.. cheers for that, your fingers must be acheing! Supercharged... Idols as solid as a rock and has never cut out once. vr6storm, yeah I can apreciate that the clio is lighter, but it's noticably more nippy than the golf..alot more than I would expect, it struggles up hills etc.

The car isn't juddery, it drives like new, it's just slow as fook...and yep...the Auto choke is certainly a bloody good possibility!..How much are those buggas!

I had a reciept for them , and the boxes for them were in the glove box aswell, i may just change them again. Would the glow plugs make it run a bit sluggish aswell then?
