I wasn't doubting the comparisson with the integra, I just found it suprising that you think that VR6's are over priced at the moment and that they're not worth that much more than valvers, IMO - the VR6 is a completely different car to the valver and vastly better :)

There's only one thing in that photo that's illegal, and it aint the plates  *edit* - actually, looking again - those plates would be illegal nowadays as they're not showing the name of the garage that sold them to me. To be honest I haven't got a clue where the law stands, but as far as I know you now have to be showing 100% correct plates, so I suppose having the 'D' band would make them technicaly illegal?

Nice, we looked at a couple of places in Illogan, nice bit of coast around there - we'll have to pop down and see you guys sometime, it's less of a trek than Hayle! 8) As for the plates, I get mine from RKE for about £15 - seems a bugger to have to pay them for the pleasure of advertising their business
-
And an old one for luck..
-
Hiya Tim, long time no see! How's tricks? hope married life is treating you well mate! As for the plates, I actually prefer the UK ones with the GB band 8) - I think they look pretty smart.
-
I seem to remember paying around £150 last time I had it done.

OMGZZZZZ!!!11!!!!!!

Hmmm, have you driven a rado VR6?
-
Looks like 'pearl grey' to me (LA7U ) and a very nice one too! G60's are becoming very rare in nice clean standard condition! - I can only hope that you have no plans for a bodykit and neons for it! Enjoy!

I find it amazing that people often think that their car will sell as soon as they advertise it. It's only been for sale for 3-4 days and you're panicking about a lack of interest?? Did you genuinely think that you'd sell it instantly? The only cars that sell within a couple of days of being advertised are the true bargains, where sellers just want rid of their cars so price them accordingly.
-
Yep, as it's a valver with average mileage and in GOOD condition you're looking at £1500
-
I think you may be able to achieve slightly more than £3.5k considering the registration, the recent work carried out, and the leather interior. If it's in really good condition and drives as it should then i'd be asking for around £4k, it'll be worth it to the right buyer as there's an awfull lot of bad Corrados on the market.
-
Yeah, such as what engine it is/colour/interior/condition/service history? etc etc If the mileage isn't a typo and the car has covered 14k miles then it'll be worth more than £1500 no matter what engine it has. If the mileage is that low then I expect anyone looking to buy it would be interested to know what parts have been replaced in it's lifetime as alot of components will have perished regardless of mileage. If the car's a VR6 and in tip top condition with a decent spec (leather etc) and has been maintained throughout it's life it'll be worth around £7k-£8k i'd say - I think that's pretty much the limit of what Corrados are worth nowadays.

:( gutted mate

Put ' azev A ' into the search.

Agreed, I also think that if you're considering modifying a rado (or any car) then you really need to make sure everything on the car is tip top to begin with, there's no point charging an engine that's fo0ked, it could cost you £5k to get the car to a standard that would be worthey of taking on a beast of an engine and 4x4 conversion etc let alone what it'll cost you to carry out the mods you're talking about. Like Andy says, owning two cars is basicaly doubling your car outgoings, and all the hassle/time/paranoia etc that goes with it. I suppose there's alot of people out there that devote their lives to their cars and are happy to blow loads of money and time on them but if you've been getting p1ssed off with keeping one standard car going I think maybe buying another car and modding the hell out of your valver isn't the best idea. I guess what i'm trying to say, is that you can sometimes polish a turd - but it's not allways worthwhile. -
I reckon, about...hmmm £4250 ono - ish?
-
I'm pretty sure GPC sell them here at around £70 for the pair. If you do want a set and they won't send them to Holland for you then let me know if I can help out.
-
Sorry mate, but if you want to sell your car on here you'll need to do for sale thread like everyone else.
-
At the right ride height, rados look so 'right' on 15's - not to mention how much better they are to drive on! I think you'll allways have those that think they look to small (I had oz turbo's on a couple of rados and they were a love/hate choice) but IMO they look spot on.

Nice one Dutch, this is gonna be an awesome car when it's finished, one of my favourites for sure.
