  1. as long as CORRADO4LIFE doesn't make a regular habit of starting new threads in the members gallery i'm sure we can let him have this one as well as his original thread too.......afterall he is not the only one with more than 2 threads in this section
  2. plan on still having my storm in 2008........though hopefully have another dub as a daily driver......getting into mk3 Golf in a big way lately either 16v GTi or a VR6  .......though the missus motor will be due a change before then  .....shame she's not into dubs at all  :(
  3. they're about £40> +vat from your local VW dealer and IIRC one side is slightly dearer than the other :?
  4. the car for sale on it was a leathered up VR6 on a K-plate...........the one they used to show you outside their "lock-up" was indeed a storm.........a classic green one at that too
  5. there is no chance that your friend has bought a set of new Koni coil-overs for under £600 let alone under £400 even from a mail order company....the cheapest i've heard of them going for is at inters 2 years ago for when it was £580+ from TSR's stand IIRC........anyway i haggled to get mine to £640 from TSR this year as the Koni representatives were there and thats the cheapest they would let them go for

    smokin VR6

if there's too much fuel it'll produce a black-dark grey kind of colour smoke especially when you boot it
  7. not much wonder yer roof has turned a bit pink......that is some blue sky out there!!........anyway looks damn nice......i just love a tornado red C 8)
  8. and all it does IIRC is make it so that both wheels are revolving at the same speed by applying the ABS to whatever wheel is turning faster........i've really only noticed mine in snow and icy road conditions.......when its actually been quite effective
  9. couldn't agree more...........looked hideous.....can kinda understand going for the 968-style mirrors but anyhting else especially M3 style just looks stupid.....C-mirrors are probably the nicest looking mirrors VW ever designed/fitted IMHO
  10. they not the same as what jamie simms has/had on his blue Corrado G60 :?
  11. i just stuck mine over the plastic ones

    winter driving

nice choice........tbh though if it was me......i would have the ur-quattro for winter and the Corrado for summer.....loved my old ur-quattro in the snow  not so keen on it on ice tho
  15. not meaning a factory one Roy  as i thought that most if not all 16v's have to have at least CAT2 minimum security fitted.........can't remember if yours(or rather Mrs Roy's  ) had anything fitted when you bought it
  16. euro-car-parts do a Elstock 65amp alternator for £75+vat and a £30 surcharge(which is normally is refunded when you give them your existing alt in exchange) and AFAI you get a 12 month warranty
  17. phone star-performance and get them to quote you for all that work,i'm sure like biggrim you'll be pleasently surprised
  18. Och Aye the noo ................btw its only sometimes that we drive on the wrong side.........just to avoid hitting the haggis that are on the road

    Electric windows

that'll be total closure then
  22. biggerbigben, thanks very much for the compliment, funnily enough i'm debating putting on a new driver's side wing(from mid-december) as there a couple of blisters coming through on the arch and around the side repeater(which seems to be a common place on the C).....but then again i imagine this is why you are after one too  if i do decide to replace rather than repair are you still interested? 20v turbo, thanks also for your compliment,as for the ride with the Koni's around town it is abit harsher than the std set-up,but on A and B roads its very controlled and refined.......definately the best mod ive had done to the car
