you a first time buyer by any chance?.........if so you can get 100%+ mortgages so no need for a deposit

since buying my 993 over a year ago my Corrado "blinkers" have been cast aside, not to their reliability/quirks and probs but more to their used prices on the market, but I certainly think tho that Riley is going to perhaps realise the hard way that the grass isn't always greener on the "other" side as to going Jap,maybe the Japs have got better reliability but no car manufacturer has managed to get every part/component down to 100% reliability,so it just needs for something that is dealer only to go wrong with said Jap wagon and then he'll think VW's are cheap to run!!!.........

Bennys Corrado VR6 !! built to be drivern ! BREAKING !!!!!!!
vr6storm replied to CorradoRun's topic in Members Gallery
You must be joking, for me its one of the reasons i went for the green. I wonder what a Mystic with beige would look like.. . 'fraid not...........I was always wanting a Mystic blue one purely for the black leather and the odd Classic Green ones that came up locally always looked well minging carpet/seat wise, tho having said that to me Classic green is a better colour than the mystic blue -

................so where's the BBS Solitudes, colour coded grille and Sony CD player........you've just got a classic green VR with leather :-P :-P :-P only joking,I just wished the Green Storm's came with black leather -
I class myself more of a German motor enthusiast, with a slight inclination to early 80's Fordies as well, tho it was going to Inters in 1998 that really got me into VW's even tho I'd owned a few Porsches and an UR-quattro well before then, having said that I've owned my Corrado for almost 3 times longer than any other car I've had in the past :D

yip provided its been well maintained then a 100k-ish VR6 should still have plenty life,I bought a 148k miler tail-end of last year, and all it had was routine oil changes, and it was still near silent and smooth running

sell it then.................you either want to sell or you don't,you seem to have put too much pro's on selling it than keeping it,Ive hardly used my C since getting my 993 back in October 2005,but I know unless I fall on hard times that I'll never sell it
-
just remove it,my shield has been off for 3 years now

don't get sucked into the "but its newer so should be more reliable" scenario tho,I know of someone who bought an Alfa 156 TS and spent close on £1k trying to sort a missfire
