  3. Silver ones are the bestest. I've had 2 VRs both '92s and both had the brushed silver badges Chris
  4. But here in the UK we use DIN not SAE which is a different metric! Your 200WBHP will only be 168WBHP un the UK Chris
  5. Yip, that does look like a good deal, i saw the Raceland one in Austria for 280Euro's but yours TUG looks like a few including me will be tempted! Chris
  6. No one would refuse any of them, least of all me! Sex on wheels but over the jag and such, the Aston has the name! Chris

  9. Jay, If ya going to be in York we should have a rund down or you could have a wander up here and have a play in our cars, should be fun. Chris
  10. Maybe the Wire should check that his throttle is fully opening when the pedal is pressed! Chris
  11. Mega! What more is there to be said! Chris
  12. Forgotten, maybe the blue one with white stripe but easy to find out if you look at the plug by the rear engine mount and pull the sheething back a bit on the loom side and there you go, look for the same wire at the ecu plug, i've measured the lambda voltage at that point to discover if there was a break in the wire somewhere as my probe isn't working but never has from the start, need to get it fixed! Chris
  13. And now what is it Chrisilophsky? Mine is averaging 27mpg with the charger on and the odd squirt and 100mph run on the motorway Chris
  14. There's a few wires in a row but the one by it's self is the sensor wire you want Chris
  15. I've been in this car and had pics of it before it was even on the road or finished, dead nice blokes and for a French guy he spoke good English! Chris
  16. I have the same front bumper and i like it but only the fastest VR's have this mod! Mr Hill I saw this car at Woerthesee Chris
  17. I was sure Dragon Green came into it at some point! Chris
  18. James, there's been about 6 on this exact topic and i've posted pics up as well as Chrishill whom has my old VR with these fitted has posted pics too! He wants to go to ECP and get some new ones and put them on cos he'll be the only one with them in the country by the sounds of it! It's just not that hard to do, i mean i did it! So there you go. Jai, you could ask one of the mods to kindly sweep the off topic posts into a new thread if you like? Chris
  19. The MIVEC means Mitsubishi Variable Electronic Cam timing My VR easily beat it but it did have a charger on but i felt that it would have beaten it regardless! Here's the FTO MIVEC i had, I did enjoy driving it and it was good on fuel plus it did look nice and this version has harder suspension as standard plus it has a different body than the others and ridges in the roof that offer additional stiffness! Bet ya didn't know that! If anyone wants one then just let me know! Chris
  20. The measurement wasn't an issie Paul, the position was found from fixing the strut to the wing then lifting it up to full lift then marking and drilling there. Chris
  21. The main problem with these kits are that they are American and the parts ie jets and bits can't be as easilly sourced plus the solenoids are weedy and if you go hunting around on various forums there are plenty of posts about these solenoids going down, siezing etc and people, even USA upgrade the solenoids to the WON kits, which are better in loads of ways. The main problem is that everything is in USA imperial and not metric so i'll leave it up to you to try and sort out the jet size increments cos i can't help you, it's mental trying to get the exact jet sizes you want. Have fun but just don't phone up WON for advise cos he'll tell you where to go! Like phoning up Vauxhall to ask them to help fix your Corrado cos thier name has VA and an L in the word! Chris
  22. Best get the propper ones for the job as failure can result in a lot of hassle and money! Chris
  23. I'd like to know the spec of the engine internals! 3.2 eh, let's see what's in there. Chris
  24. MK1G60R1, that's a god point. I've not used them both in conjunction but the nitrous goie in at -160C so not sure if it would make the water freeze instantly as the engine will be hot, need to ask the man whom knows, i'll get the low down off Trevor at WON. 50bhp jets are fine but the effect of setpping up another 25 is shocking. 25jets were noticable but not very much, just felt like you had fitted a free flow filter and exhaust and had it on a crypton tune. 50bhp jets started to give the feeling of this is what i was looking for woo-hoo, but just not scarey or mind blowing. 75bhp jets, now the first time i floored my VR with this setup on was along the coast road at Marsden for whom that know the area and i went to over take some car but there was a pedestrian island in the middle of the road so i thought as the road was clear that i would over take and continue on the wrong side of the road 'til after the island which was 20yards away as there was no way that i'd safely get past the car before that. Selected 3rd, my wife was asleep in the passenger seat at the time, floored it as i pulled out and bang the furious kick threw me down the road like a strong power band from a 2stroke motorbike and VERY easily got in front of the car and pulled in way before the island with plenty of room to spare WOW what a shock, i shouted 'Now that's what i'm talking about'! The wife woke up and asked what i was shouting about! bless her. In my opinion you are wasting your time with a progressive on 50bhp jets as it's just not a lot of power and you'll find it's wasted, 100bhp is ideal for a progressing as the higher the revs climb, the dynamically the less time the valves are open to let the gas in so you need more gas as the revs climb to keep the acceleration linea! Chris
  25. Same old problems with the 4WD breaking! Is or was it a 2.0L 16v Corrado engine to start with? Chris
