I have to add that i got a VERY noticable difference when replaced with a cat-pass pipe, i know i have a charger but Kev The Wire didn't have his charger at the time and reported a noticeable difference on N/A. We both run VR6's too. Chris

Wasn't there someone that made metal ones somewhere? Chris
-
That turbo is just too big! Hope the internals are up to the same standard as the effort put into the outside of it but i expect it will have! Chris
-
The car was funny, looked like it couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding Chris
-
Cnuts the lot of them! Chris
-
lol i was going to say buy a VR6 or Nitrous it! :lol but thte two options that will give you power have been suggested, do either of these or give it up as a bad joke, you don't have a fast car and these are the only two things that will make it fast, stop wasting your money Chris

It's piston slap, get used to it, it's VR ownership unless you want to rebore it. It won't hurt so forget about it Chris
-
What a pile of twaddle Lee who told you that crock, i don't believe you for 1 minute, it's pile of w@nk, even Vince sells over sized pistons, think before you post, you know better than that! Chris
-
If you read the details on an info sheet that comes with a new Lambda probe it tells you not to touch it or use a multimeter with less than 10mega ohms resistance to test it or it will break! Chris
-
we were going to bore it to 85mm pistons that could be sourced from Vince or EIP which brings it to 3248 CC's Chris
-
revs better, smoother and faster than mine! and i have a 6lb alloy flywheel on Didn't we work it out to be a 3.3l paul? The crank is 95.4mm Pixr2xh/1000x6 is the formula if you have a calc Chris
-
I need some stuff for my VR to keep it happy but poverty scricken! Chris
-
I know what you meant, it's a propper spade male with a ickle hole in the middle Chris
-
they are the clips that hold the cap on but no spade clips go there apart from one at the base of the dizzy to earth. Chris
-
it happened when i first fitted the charger and there was no crinckly pipe to extend the maf away from the charger and with the std knackered front mount, the engine moved under accellerstion and forced the maf and K&K to come off the charger inlet pipe and i ran over tham  but it drove home ok, you know what i mean, like i got home and wasn't a bother on the motorway on the way home TBH Chris
-
nope not the MAF as you could run happily along even it the maf fell off, i know, it happened to me! i'd leave the dizzy and check the usual things like air leake and lecky probs. I'll prob be at Paul's on Sat morning if you want to fetch it down for a looksee Chris

I have to say that i had a 1.8valver and loved it, no, it was never going to be as fast as a VR but i loved it non the less and went all over in it for a year then i got the VR and added nitrous to it then a Vortech charger so any Corrado is great and you'll enjoy it but if you want a fast car, then start with a fast car! VR6 every time, and you get extras the others usually don't get Chris
-
Nope, you need to consider what you are told and seperate it from the made up shlt then decide what you type  Nice one Kevin, were you meaning the 3.3L 12 valve in the garage up here or another one? Chris
-
What's your point here, what you after doing? Chris
-
The same as yours pretty much then kev, once the injectors and the map is sorted!!!! Corrado SVR power! Chris
-
THis thread is a bit scarey to new Corrado owners i'm sure but i have to say that apart from the mods i wanted to do like the Nitrous, Aupercharger and the wishbone bushes and the lowered suspension that i paid £40 for, i havent spent any money but for thet odd oil change or breakfluid change when i put the 288mm discs on but none of these things were because things were knackered. I think VE6 ownership is cheap enough to do on the dole! Chris
-
2 & 1/2 weekends! what did they do? Have you got the bloody VF mount sorted out yet? Chris
-
The above message from dr_mat may contain IRONY, SARCASM and UNSUBSTANTIATED HEARSAY, you were warned! Chris
-
This will be interesting, i'd guess you could use one but i shall read and see what ppl say with interest Chris

I think the general concensors is that the fronts need the poly's but the jury is still out on the rears! Chris
