OK OK dont laugh, A friend of mine has just bought a Fabia VRS and is looking for a bit of advice. The skoda forums I have found only have about 50 members and no threads to their names. Anyone know of a good one?

Think I got mine about june time. as for the membership. I got mine back with one fairly big purchase of stuff from GSF. also, the jolly round castle coombe more than made up for any delays in the magazine coming. CCGB Rocks !

Not to my tase personaly but I do like the idea of tweaking the speedies a little. Saw these at Dubs in the park last summer. DIamond cut and black inners. Really like them but didn't get a chance to speak to the owner and find out where they were done.

I believe the Merc Sprinter vans are charged up? it would explain the air intake on the side of the wing. and their ability to stick to the car infront nomatter what speed they are doing. :)

£71.44 inc vat. and less if you can swing a cheeky club discount. Part number 871 035 503. If you can put up with the same aeiral, the reception can be improved upon by bypassing the amp. The amp is in the base of the unit covered in foam, and it sucks up water, corrodes and worsens the signal. The way to fix it is by ripping out the amp and soldering a link to the base of the aerial. 20 min fix and keeps things original. There is a how too on here

Unfortunatly Alfa dont make them and as the SZ were such a limited run. No one seems to have spares. The only available replacement is a direct swap buying direct from Lamborgini. These parts are metal, so Im guessing it could be chromed.

Is it possible to re silver the inside of a headlight? A friend of mine has an alfa sz 8) and the relay went fubar this weekend causing a bulb explosion. As such he now has two headlights out and new ones are not available, Am wondering if anyone knows of somewhere that can re-silver the inside or if chroming might be a possibility?

Late spec bonnets are still available from VAG. Not sure on prices though. But have a look in the for sale thread, Im sure there are a couple of bonnets on cars that are being broken.

Im mostly Chilled behind the wheel But I do lean on the horn if people are lanehogging. My record is well over 2 mins. The one time I called some a c0cksucker through an open window he chased me for about 10 miles whilst going purple behind his steering wheel. It was a close run thing.

The response I had from RUF.us said that the owners could order it in any colour, But I am still awaiting a reply from RUF.de

Well 28 of them left RUFs factory in yellow, But I spose there is nothing to stop one of them being resprayed in guards Red. I asked tech at work but the only involvement Porsche have with RUF is to supply them cars.
