Thread Resurection, Looking at Prices for Pagid FR pads on the GSF site. It seems to list VR ones but next to it is 8/91 now Im asuming that that means upto 1991??? or am i being Dumb caus VRs were not made then? Also silly question 2, Do I only need to buy 1 set? ie, left and right in one pack?

Just seen it at the local meet. Nick, it is looking peachy. Sounds like he has been to hell and back getting the car to where it is but it sits lovely on those wheels. Oh and it was raining so I dont think anyone took Pics :D

Yeah Yeah Trig :D So going by that. 110 is a good temp to be running at so the oil is at its most efficient?

What is 200 - 230 deg Farenheight in Celcius please?

the 2.9 V is closer togther than the 2.8 V so the C's do run a bit warmer. but the manual does say at 140 it is time to stop and cool down. Im just trying to preserve my enging so am going for one of these coolers for that reason. They are going for 135 - 145 quid depending on type of car. But if it means The oil wont get so thin that it offers no protection then it is worth it in my book.

Ben??? Ou et the downloads? can only see the Worthersee ones and will the finished article be at no-rice on Weds? -
There is a group buy ending tomorow evening for Mocal oil coolers. I also get 110 at motorwat speeds and after a bit of thraping will easily get up to 122 even saw 126 in the summer. So I am getting an oil cooler sorted ready for next summer. by all accounts you will have to work prety hard to get it up over 102. Try this link to the group buy and all the info on the Mocal cooler.

Looks like a right laugh, Proper motivation to get me a job and get there this summer. -
You could try a strong needle and thread and sewing a piece of velcro (hook side) to the underside of the mats. No mat under clutch problems again.
-
Nice one, Ta Yan. order sent today to Justmatz.

Back in september on the way back from no-rice I got a flash from a golf vr6 joining the m3. we were just about side by side all the way up to 142 but I bottled it and backed down. took me about 2 hours to calm down. It was amazing going that speed but I think I would much rather go flat out on a track where I might not slam into some dopey Micra driver who just needs to pull out with out looking and it is game over. (moral thing over) -
Tasty Tasty, very very Tasty. Their very tasty.
-
Depending on size of logo they are about a fiver a mat.
-
sweet, cheers trig. it was kinda what id thought but wanted to make sure.
-
Yandards, or indeed anyone with Justmatz mats, Those look prety damn good, what is the diference between the classic and deluxe mats? am I going to get shoddy ones for the 39.99 + tenner online fee?

Enjoy it, drive it and dont worry. The cars have done their depreciating and no one in their right mind gets one for investment purposes the amount that needs tinkering with over time. And if in 12 months you are fed up of ocasional problems just think how bad it might have been if you drove a beigemobile everywhere.

is that a sort of average price? I need my Bonnet and front bumper doing so am looking for a guestimate of how much I need to save. Sorry to hijack the thread but would respraying cost more for pearescent colours like aqua blue?
