  1. Afternoon mate, how're things? I've got a feeling that the sunroof and spoiler are on the same fuse, which could explain them both packing up. Was the light flashing when it was running and warm? I think it denotes over heating as well as the level and uses a different sensor to the temp gauge. could just be a knackered sensor or dodgy earth. Or it could be the sensor in the tank. I might be around to give you a hand at the weekend , but i'm pretty busy at the moment. I'll let you know nearer the time.
  2. scarlet_vr6, Have you seen the BMC CDA up for sale?

    Brakes...

I think mine needs 4 clicks with new cables and decent rear mechs. What does cause me a problem is that the springs on the calipers are different strengths so if you adjust the cable for the drivers side caliper, the spring is stronger and all that happens is the passenger side caliper gets pulled on. consequently, the cables aren't adjusted too tightly. but the handbrake works well and smoothly, so I'm happy.
  4. I like the fact that the rear seats are still there, makes it look a bit more unique. Good skills fella!
  5. Is it just me or is that innuendo heaven? :norty:
  6. Good work! Are you going to leave the HT leads in their current position? Might they get a bit warm from the exhaust? What intercooler are you going to use too? The water fitting looks like it will be tight to the charger outlet. Looks stunning though.... Nice action!

    Clay Bar

Try looking at cleanyourcar.co.uk, or at Riley's website volkdevil.com. You can buy claybars seperately on either. Edit: or just click on Rileys links below... :D
  8. Lol... Will there be a corrado love rat leader board... Like the Corrado Tart Test. £5 for loving your corrado £10 for loving someone elses corrado £15 for having a corrado threesome £20 for getting caught with your finger up someone elses exhaust pipe £50 for corrado loving in a public place. £50 for Same-corrado encounters. Etc.
  9. Sounds a bit like mine. The cable snapped and got stuck in the motor. try feeling up the centre bit of channel for the wire that moves the window. It's really hard work to get it out of the door once you've drilled the rivts out, it's too small a hole for the mech. it does help to have an assistant who can wiggle the window up and down to get it out though.
  10. Try the "Show some love Walesy style" thread...
  11. Not yet, sadly i can't fit a later mk5 air seat, so I'll have to retrim the original along with the rest of the trim. I'm lucky in that it has the rare PAVT wheels with the flat centres so that I can adjust the offset whenever I want without spacers. I just need to polish them and get them lacquered. Also have the 16.9(14) r 34 tyres which are clearly lower profile than the standard 16.9 r 34. It has meant that I had to make some alterations to the rear hitch clear speed bumps when I go through the drive through maccy Ds Not yet. Luckily I have some rear handles off an estate. these look better (De-locked) and will mean I don't have to climb in throught the back window, which doesn't impress 'Chell, when we're at the Winchester cruise... Talking of which I need to get the ICE sorted. The old MW/LW head unit got nicked  along with the chrome headlamps... Bloody pikeys. So I've only got the single custom speaker in the roof pod. Cheers fella. Glad someone appreciates it. It's been hard getting all the retro stickers and oil leaks just right. Getting the fan belt to fray and look shagged out took me weeks! I'll be doing all the shows this year with my mates off the New Holland forum... Maybe see you at BVF (British Vegetable Festival) in the summer or I might be at No-Townie next month if you're around.
  12. Just took a couple of pictures of my rado mid polish. I stood quite a long way back so you cant see the residue... I also took some pictures of my other beast.... My Leyland 2100. It's about 32 years old, on an N plate. All I know is that it lived in Lincolnshire for a while before making its way into hampshire. It could do with a respray but the bodywork isn't too bad otherwise. It's got a leyland 6.98 engine which is a straight 6, 5.6l putting out 100 hp and about 276 lbft when new. It recently had new liners and rings as the liners had gone porous, and could do with a little bit more work to sort the cooling system and to get the oil pressure back up when it's hot. Could also do with a new clutch and release bearings. Some larger back tyres would be nice, and new fronts too. But to be honest I rarely use it, so I can't be too bothered to spend money on it. I just found out that its worth a bit more than my corrado too... Which is always nice.
  13. I concur. Any chance of some more pics? Are you taking the engine bay back to bare metal and respraying it whilst you're there? or just clean up whatever needs doing?
  14. Lol. I actually have a golf ball dent in my bonnet. Trust me, you'd notice that pretty quickly.
  15. ROFL!!! Walesy, Did you notice that MC Dictionary is standing in front of a rude word?
  16. I like that fuse holder design! Did you get some female loom plugs made up? By Female I mean the equivalent of the back of the headlamp unit. I spoke to you regarding buying a couple off you at the South Coast meet.
  17. Looks good. Like that colour! Will be interesting to see it rebuilt...
  18. Apparently you have to use the corresponding ecu, loom, gauges, ignition switch and key...
  19. The banjo bolts are the ones at each end of the filter and connect the filter to the fuel lines, they are hollow and have a hole through the side to allow fuel to flow throught them. They aren't that strong so be careful how tight you do them. You need to put the copper washers each side of the banjo union, ie bolt, washer, fuel pipe, washer, filter. They sound like the culprit TBH.
  20. Look in the Wiki.... There's a guide to doing the 16v fuel filter...

    Brakes...

Have a look at this thread. Sounds very similar.
  22. If the pressures are correct, you can fit them by using KR injector lines Jim.... I bougth a set of the merc injectors and fitted them to my 1.8 16v. You need to swap the caps on the end of the injectors over. I had to use a blowtorch to free mine off.
