    Can you see the fluid in the tank? I thought mine had liquid in until i took the lid off and looked inside, seems i was just seeing the old stain mark from the outside.

    Thinking of colouring my roof lining black, and also the sun visors and interior light unit. Anyone done this? My interior is already mostly black, including the A,B & C pillars.

    Have decided this is the issue with mine, after replacing literally everything apart from the dash gauge it still reads a bit low while on the move.

    Its not all doom and gloom. Every one does hate insurance I agree. But I have been meaning to thank martin for the good deal this time round. HIC are decent to deal with and at least all the lovely ladies I speak to on the phone actually know what a corrado is. I find it much less stressful phoning hic than say direct line or admiral.

    Worth noting the Y piece is designed for the Mk3 golf and isn't required on the corrado. Although i managed to fit my one when a pipe split.

    yes, usually at 1000rpm or just over for a short while, then drops down to normal idle speed.

    Its something i've always wondered with insurance, say you crash halfway through the policy do you cancel and get a refund? Have never cancelled an insurance policy before so not really encountered it. On another note. Do you get money back if you cancel your phone policy halfway through?. Because really they say you pay £30 a month and get a free phone, but we all know the £30 a month is paying for the handset a bit each month.

    Noticed this over the last few weeks. When i start the car from car i hear a knocky noise related to engine speed. Found out today if i push the clutch down the noise disappears until i release clutch. Doesn't seem like the whirring i've had from release bearing before. Also goes away after driving a short distance. Could it be gearbox issues? Might try an oil change, i did ask a garage to do it once, but wasn't too sure if they did or not.

    What is a classic policy? I've just renewed with HIC (been quite happy with it too). I don't think mine is a classic policy.

    Focus ST, Civic Type R, Astra GTE, Old men in Scooby STI, all seem similar speeds to the corrado, I think on B-roads its more a case of who is the bravest

    There is a procedure of putting key in ignition. Turn it fully clockwise so ignition is on. Then connect battery. Then turn key back to off position and then hold button in on fob for 10secs or so. Sometimes it doesn't work first time.

    I spent ages refurbing some wheels, cost quite a bit of money and lots of time and they turned out not great. Took them to get tyres put on and the guy there talked me into getting them done properly. Am sure there are places around that do it cheaper than £60 per wheels http://www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk/ Prices seem quite cheap, and i've heard good stuff about them.

    i cut all the plastic off my glovebox to make it easier to get in and out. Took a while.

    I still think my best handling car was my nova on 12yr old standard shocks and £65 Pi springs.

    I've found parking the car and then getting out and trying to push/roll the front wheel back and forth is a good way to test the wishbone bushes. My wheel was shaking about in the wheel arch.

    I just ordered some roose ones, only bought the top and bottom rad hose, but starting to think i should of just ordered the 8 hose set.
