I bought 3 of them and stuck them in a drawer somewhere. Didn't seem as user friendly as I wanted. Although I did manage to get footage.

Them ids are just random generated, the start and end letter aren't actually the correct ones, so could be the same bloke.

Thinking of getting some sort of video camera setup so i record incidents on the road, mainly idiots etc After getting reported myself and having a visit from the police this weekend i have decided i want to report people as well, with video evidence. :lol: tbh i have been thinking about it for ages, not just because of the police thing. I had a similar issue with mine, Hi beam would work and so would side lights, but Lo beam wouldn't, after much testing with a multimeter it turned out to be the indicater stalk that switches between modes, i guess it had just worn out and something was up with the connections inside. Was getting power to the lights but they wouldn't come on, i think it must of been an earth issue in the stalk

They should come with their own top nuts you can use. You may want to replace the nuts and bolts that hold shock body to the wheel bearing housing, there are two each side. They might be fine, but i replaced mine. Also you aren't really meant to re-use the nyloc nuts on the lower ball joints, track rod ends. These nuts all come with a wheel bearing when you order one, i ordered them individually but also ordered wheel bearings so got two lots. While your there its worth checking condition of the wishbone bushes, rear axle bushes, i did new top mounts front and back as well ---------- Post added at 10:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:14 AM ---------- Steering rack bush and anti roll bar bushes are a much bigger/harder job than just fitting coilovers.

I've not done mine for a while, but once all the screws are undone the card should pull off quite easily. I don't recall ever breaking a clip, some stay stuck to door card while some stay on the door, I just pull them off and refit them all to the card (or the door) Its been so long i can't really remember, but do remember it being easy

not done it yet, but ABS come on again last night, loads of shaking etc then i have to put foot on brake to stop it and they come on really hard. Have found it only happens with someone in the passenger seat, which is weird, and it seems to only happen at slow speeds like under 15mph i would guess.

I was given a tip when splicing together two bit of loom like that, and it was to stagger the joins so you don't end up with one big thick clump of joins at the same point on the wire. may be obvious but i didn't think of it, so passing the tip on

I use Einszett leather care now, have used autoglym, megs, gliptone, furniture clinc in the past. Couldn't believe how much dirt came off with the Einszett (i had already cleaned them with the furniture clinic stuff) but the seats turned two new cloths black/brown when using the Einszett. I find the most important thing is keeping them clean as often as possible, your not really going to undo any ageing and cracks by rubbing a cream into a sealed leather. The rear part of the rear head rests on my leather (facing the rear screen) seems to be the weirdet leather i have, seems really dry and no matter how much "conditioner" i apply it doesn't change the feel of it.

Do headlights stay on when ignition is turned. But go dimmer.

Had an advisory anyway from the MOT that i had a chip in the windscreen. (had a chap around ages ago and he said because of the size and position he won't repair it) so i left it at that. Just had a massive stone hit the windscreen on my way into work this morning and its left a big chip, twice the size of the other one and right between my eyes as i look through the screen. Whats the best thing to do these days? Just ring my insurance? Is a local windscreen chap that might be able to fit a new windscreen. I just want a decent screen and decent fitting, would be easier to be as local as possible in case of any problems that may arise afterwards etc. I also don't mind paying for it, never had to get a windscreen replaced before so a bit clueless on it all.

I wasn't aware of using a different bolt with the R32 bushes, i have them bushes and used the standard bolt.

I just use my foglights with headlights on side light setting. Seems to work and bothers certain drivers, which i like.

My tt wipers are doing the same at the moment. Hoping it was just the cold weather but no. Think it doesn't help as the car sat around for 18months and I let them get dusty. Worked well before that 18months.

There are two types of OE bolts, long ones and short ones, My sump seemed to have a mix of the two (can't see much it makes much difference) but i swapped them all for new ones anyway.

I used some little bits of square metal with holes in that i found in the garage, and seems to of done the job. Not sure what the purpose of them is apart from to act as a washer.
