sometimes as i leave my house some of the neighbours kids are playing in the street and they all line up on the pavement, then as i drive off, some of them try to race me, some on foot, some on bmx. i usually win, but the oldest (11yr old) sometimes gets a better launch

its not like he has broke his own back putting work into the car, its an off the shelf product, to him its just money, he can replace the car the next day if he so wished (i imagine) You wouldn't do it to something old and unavailable to buy right new. On the scale of things, it is like one of us smashing up a few hundred pound fridge in front of comet. -
chap who works on my corrado sometimes has some old army jeep thing with as many forward gears as reverse gears so you can go just as fast in either direction
-
i'll race you, but we can both only use reverse gear........

i'm just joking about, i find this thread a bit silly/stupid, so like to leave a reply just as bad. I have noticed your behaviour/replies towards me recently Kev, and think i'm a bit misunderstood.

not much point if its not a VR6
-
I think if i'd paided anymore then that, i wouldn't of wanted to try and make it. I search nearly everyday for revell corrados and minichamp corrados on ebay, guess not many others noticed that one

this arrived in post today, am going to attempt making it, not seen many completed, only the kits for sale will probably do it all the colours on the box, or i could go classic green pearl

Corrado Cabrio in Chelmsford 1980s? very random
Jim Bowen replied to Jim Bowen's topic in General Car Chat
Mum has just said she thinks it was 1991 and a place called Nigel Grogans or something sounding like that  thats what i've told her, that it would of been extremely rare -
Ever since i've had my corrado my mum talks about this time in the mid-late 80's when my dad was looking for a new car and they were visiting car dealers. She reckons she was in a dealers in chelmsford (on a roundabout?) and she says there was a purple corrado cabrio with cream interior in the showroom for sale. I always tell her it must of been an Audi 80 coupe and just dismiss it. But today my model kit turns up of the zender corrado cabrio and she swears blinds that the car. is this even possible?

"According to the report, the owner is trying to make a point that China is home to a growing number of individuals capable of purchasing luxury items. Companies realizes this and are making increased efforts to offer their products to the Chinese people. However, the Lamborghini owner believes that the Chinese people do not get the same level of service found in other markets. By smashing his Gallardo, he's certainly captured our attention. By the way, a new Lamborghini Gallardo, which typically sells for $230,000 on up, retails for between $529,000 and $757,000 USD in China. Ouch. its a new car, you can get another, the value is all relative to the owners pockets, i doubt he would do the same if it was a mk1 skyline of course i'm a car enthusiast Keyhaywire, i own an old VW thats a muddle of a golf and a passat made by a company with no real history of producing sports cars :D i could own a RWD jap car or BMW for the same price -

Anything I should know before replacing starter motor
Jim Bowen replied to philie's topic in Engine Bay
i was going to remove mine but am sure i got put off doing it, due to a manual or something saying i could upset the timing? i might be wrong as i'm no expert but would be handy to know the true answer, i was hoping to just unbolt mine, clean it and put back on. -
they are pretty similar on paper. If the focus ST was any quicker it would have the RS badge. i've only done 60,000mile in a standard VR so "i wouldn't know"
