i have a little 306 that i use for work and i put a nasty scrape in the bumper, was qutie deep, could really feel it. wasn't worth having a pro do it, but didn't want to leave it, so got some rattle cans, a bit of filler and had a bash myself. came out pretty good, impressed myself :lol: pics aren't the best but you get the idea

i know the one you mean, and i know someone who has one tucked away in barn like that, i thought it was his when i saw that ad.. i think they are these E9 CSL http://images.google.co.uk/images?sourc ... a=N&tab=wi na its a 2002 turbo in the Film 4 breaks i must be thinking of a different ad then, this was an old white one with the blue and pink stripes, just sat in a barn, only a quick clip before the film starts

this is mentioned in the bentley manual, needed for the track rod ends? or steering rack? what is it and who sells it?

they have a VW/Audi stamp on, they just seem a little old, but they may be fine, i don't know what they normally look like. this is what i've gathered so far....just need alot more bits from VW to get this steering sorted

i already got mine from the dealers, £18 each with two clips :! they seem crappy as well, old and white, not very nice rubber

am about to replace these steering boots, and do i need a certain type of grease or any at all? not sure where i need it

i did it once and the bang i got when going over bumps was scary, i kept thinking the shocks would fly out of the top of bonnet :lol:

good advice, i think i'll check them out, got all my suspensions, top plates and ARB now, still got to get the wishbones, ball joints, track rods etc
