No need to congratulate me, as the packaging already has, but i've just fitted the finest quality leads available....
-
I've also heard that if it can't get a reading from a sensor it will default to a high idle setting instead.

I need to replace mine as well, still undecided on the metal effect thought. I haven't got any other metal in the interior so think it would be out of place. Although i have got some chrome effect interior door handles, (still unsure on them as well)

i did mine recently and just used a normal superglue i had lying around

Something like this http://www.as-trim.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_18_31&products_id=71 They also do a thicker glue of the same type.

Sound chainy to me, maybe chain passing over a worn top tensioner, as Jim says, get a cheap stethoscope, i found it amazing to pin point a noise

Am sure there was a thread about this quite recently as its something i need to fit now.

Spal fan wiring and constant full speed dash switch
Jim Bowen replied to sexybourbon's topic in Engine Bay
Yeah that's them. Although there was another 11inch fan they sold which seemed the same but had a higher amount of air it shifted. I got that one. -
Got the injectors back from Mr injector, happy with how they came out, look great. Fitted them Plugged the wiring in Got manifold on and connected up everything, just needs the ht leads and some fluids, Still got to paint parts of the wings, sills and fit interior before i can drive it though, but will be nice to have it running, maybe next weekend. Oil catch can and the Teves20 ABS all fitted ok and look quite factory to me How i left it, (wings coming back off tomorrow)

I have a feeling the corrado fuel filters have some of valve in it. Am sure i remember fuel would only spill out of one end when changing it. They deffo have and arrow on. My car also has that little silver valve shown on previous page. Also seen the breather valve on tank neck. Just replaced all the rubber fuel lines for ptfe stuff. I wonder if a slight split in a hose might cause air to get sucked in when car isn't running. I had a fuel leak once but wouldn't leak everytime i started car. But other times it would cone out at quite a rate. Them rubber hoses are all 20yrs old now even in the youngest corrado.

Let me know if you need the trims as i don't need them. Scuttle clips might be obsolete now if it's the ones that hold the bottom three piece plastic trim above the end of bonnet.

I did see a funny thing in a corrado engine bay the other day and looked like some sort of small radiator (hadn't seen it before) i wonder now if that was an auto and it was an oil cooler. Was on the bulkhead and looked to be coming out from the heater matrix (i assumed it was a heater matrix replacement bodge)

Not sure if i asked already but i'm after the screw on lid from the brake fluid res.
-
I have a set of the three plastic trims, i bought a whole set of windscreen trim and only used the outer rubber seal. I think some screens come with the plastic trim already on (as you say)
-
How do you pull the existing ones off, mine started to come off at the front edge and i will get round to pulling them off and re sticking them down, are there clips?

I've got a 2.8 block, 2.9 inlet and throttle body, 263 cams, magnex cat back with a techtonics downpipe (larger bore) and a bmc cda. Can't remember anything else, I'm hoping for at least 192bhp as i've stepped down to the 2.8 block and would like at least standard corrado power.

Got this sorted now, although haven't been able to test anything yet. Bought superseal connectors and some thinwall wire Pretty much made the same as you, split the 3 lives from fan controller so each had two wires coming off it (used Duraseal connectors), then joined one of each of the new ones into 1 wire again using the duraseals, so that meant just having one wire into the superseal connector. Wrapped the loom in tape then added some ducting Then added the superseals to the fans -
Not sure if i asked this before or not, but a while back i bought this item and haven't bothered to fit it during rebuild, not sure if its worth fitting? Anyone had similar fitted for any reason?
