  1. Top is the front cross member, (sometimes i've seen this called a subframe), Bottom is the rad support (which i've seen called a crossmember) And then the subframe
  2. Well my pump seemed to be making a noise last night after doing about 100miles. Thinking i might order the bosch pump from euro car parts. It sounded like a noisy bearing to me and was from rear of car so assume it had to be the pump. Car stutters a bit on no or very light throttle. But not all the time. Sometimes stopping at a junction you feel the car shaking/pulsing a bit.
  3. Got mine from a place called vehicle wiring products. Used them a few times now.
  4. Its the throttle position sensor. Think it tells the ecu what angle tge throttle is open at.
  5. Would probably add £500 on when you offer the £10k as well, proper mike brewer job imo
  6. Have a slight lumpyness and thinking the MAF is something i've never changed, i do have a spare but swapping them makes no difference. Could be both are a bit old/dodgy. Happened with my ISV Thinking of buying one from the US, eurocarparts want £232 plus an old maf in exchange http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Bosch-Mass-Air-Flow-Sensor-0280217504-021906462-Volkswagen-VW-/281562733956
  7. Am pretty sure its rivets, was going to take mine off and paint it but didn't
  8. I always thought of it as red badge meant distributor version and silver had coilpack.
  9. I remember buying one for £5
  10. Most of these articles seem to be written by media students who have gone online and retyped the old reviews in their own words
  11. I think over modifying a corrado is where people go wrong, that's why i kept mine a 12v instead of upgrading to a 24v or r32, just ends up with problems.
  12. also worth looking at the top mounts on front suspension
  13. Look up a teves02 abs pump. Should show up.
  14. Do the covers just clip on? Can i swap them over from mine? If so I'll probably have this.
  15. Think this is the one i bought http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Febi-Steering-Column-Indicator-Stalk-Replacement-Switch-Genuine-OE-Quality-/191436507776?fits=Model%3ACorrado&hash=item2c92814a80:m:mpIVkOzP35gjlzWOCAyaCzw Works fine, i keep meaning to buy the other side as well because the new stalk feels much nicer and will get the same make again. You just take steering wheel off, unplug all the plugs to the stalks and then its held on with a couple of longish screws.
  16. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?78218-Headlight-issue-Now-Fixed&highlight=stalk Thats when mine went wrong
  17. I think the contacts inside the stalk must wear out or get dirty, i just thought i'd try a new one (got a non-genuine £16 one off ebay) and it fixed it. I can't remember exactly what was wrong but it was something like dipped lights not coming on, but full beam would.
  18. Also worth checking the stalk on steering wheel, i had some weird lights problems and it turned out to be the stalk.
  19. On page 2 of this thread, Jamiehamys reply, i borrowed his tool for a bit of cash. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?11472-Changing-VR6-rear-axle-bushes/page2&highlight=sealey+bush
  20. Wipers look great, nice job. Rear axle isn't too hard to rebuild, hardest bit is the bushes and thats quite easy with the correct tool (i borrowed one off someone on here) Made it easy. I'd definitely go for standard bushes, i had powerflex ones before and although they are easy to fit i wasn't happy with them and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
  21. I remember a dealer advertising an alloy wheel i needed, was battered and just a golf vr BBS, he wanted £75 for it, i offered about £60 and he wouldn't even budge a fiver, so managed to buy a whole set of four for about £60-70, i've used the wheels, had them in garage for a couple of years and sold them, the bloke is still trying to sell the rims at £75 each, and its about 4yrs later now. The wheels still show up on my ebay searches
  22. I was never into planes or really heard of the vulcan, but after Chris Gaskell on here passed away i signed up to the vulcan trust and sold quite a few of the raffle tickets around work, Also bought the calendar, keyrings, mugs etc. I now have some corrado/vulcan connection and think about it each time i hear the vulcan mentioned.
  23. Only the bases iirc and they aren't even screwed in, just lift out. (which i never knew in the 9yrs of having mine)
