  1. Sounds like when my ignition switch went. Just totally random one evening.
  2. Nooooo! get some pics up if you can
  3. oh, right, so i've probably ditched mine (iirc someone said i don't need it), i guess the switch on the pedal just does the brake light or something
  4. Where is this sensor? Is it used in teves20 setup? I may of already asked this before.
  5. I've used that manual to do my engine build, I also doubled checked every step/torque with the Bentley manual, both really handy and with the right tools enable to do just about everything you could need to.
  6. No problem, am trying to figure out the m10 bolts and where they go, i bet that's not the first time its caused confusion
  7. Bottom one of the two http://www.partsbase.org/vw/corrado-cor-eu-1993-80-mounting-parts-for-engine-and-transmission/
  8. I'm not sure what the m10 bolts shown are for. Must be something else. If you look up the parts diagram from transmission mounting. It shows the correct 3 bolts. And they show up as m12. A bit confusing. but am sure it's the m12 ones.
  9. Pic of mine fitted. Not great but all I could find. You might need to zoom in. You are right. The one sticking out is a long bolt from the starter motor. Also there is one bolt fitted from oil cooler side. Can be quite tough to fit. I wonder if that's why it was left off. I have bolts and mounts sat around somewhere. I could have a measure if needed.
  10. I always wonder where a blue storm went, it was a local one with a number that almost read STORM, something like ST9RM etc, i do know the owner but never see him, he sold it not long after i bought mine.
  11. I think I have one I don't need. It is for a vr? A black cable with a little blue one in it.
  12. When i had my screen fitted the guy had the screen and all the seals, He refitted the old outer seal as the new one was so out of shape it looked terrible and wouldn't sit very well. It come all screwed up in a tiny bag. That £7.50 seal isn't the outer one, that the top one i think, fits onto screen before it goes in. Someone was recently selling 5 or 6 of the complete seal kits (on ebay) for about £36, i bought that for the outer seal, it came in a long tube so not all kinked etc. Not fitted it yet though. But i'll probably go around the seal with some silicone sealant before fitting it.
  13. I have to turn mine before pulling it out. So the dials are facing down. Just be careful not the scratch the face.
  14. You should be able to get something in the door if you remove the rubber window scraper trim from the top of door/bottom of window. You want to be trying to reach the latch and lift up the lever. Is one for the lock and another does the latch. Very fiddly though. I've broken into many a thing using the metal bit off those paper files that site in filing cabinets. This sort of thing, is a thin metal bar you can rip out and has a handy hook on the ends.
  15. For some reason this has made me remember this. ...
  16. well it makes buying spark plugs easier. They seem to come in packs of 4 and I usually end up buying 2 packs. So end up with 2 lying around.

    Hello

Yeah. Get it sorted if you can and enjoy it for the summer. It looks nice.
  18. Welcome. Do you like the rear lights? I think they really change the look of a corrado. Sometimes not for the better. Nice big drive you have there. :)
  19. Will have to clean mine when it goes back on. As was having a few issues and it was probably the only thing I didn't check. Nice one for updating the thread.
  20. its the plate at the bottom of the spring. You can move it up or down on the koni shock body. Not got ekta at the mo. Am on phone.
  21. I'm going to put the konis back on the rear, as its even so slightly lower than the front.
  22. The rear sat a bit higher with the koni shocks on there as you can raise the spring platform, The sachs shocks are fixed. This is with the sachs/HR on the rear, and Koni/HR on the front. This was on the KW V1's, which i found the rear end too firm and low
  23. Its the kit i'd get next, i've had about 6 different suspensions. Currently have H&R springs on the rear with Sachs advantage shocks and it works quite well. I have koni adjustables on the front set to softest and still find car quite firm, buts its a lot better than the KW V1s (on rough roads) The thing i like about the sachs shocks is the rears were only £38 each, so didn't mind replacing them if i had to in the next year or so.
  24. Just a thought, they don't open too wide, so for larger spring clamps they may not work. I was struggling on the largest water hose clamps
