  1. Am not driving round with a hole in my inlet btw. Engine isn't in car yet. Didn't want to cause any confusion.
  2. I've fitted an oil catch can. I still need to find something to plug the hole in the inlet elbow
  3. The ball joints can swap over. They dont come with the wishbones. Although you might need to renew the bolts and retaining plate that holds ball joint on. Droplinks from the anti roll bar need undoing. Worth seeing if they need renewing. Engine has to be jacked up or sump removed to get one of the wishbone bolts out. It's worth getting some plusgas and spraying all the bolts whenever you can leading up to the work. Should help getting them out. Where in Essex are you?
  4. Not sure they even do that much. I'm removing mine. I was quite sure the electrical plug is just a blank with no pins in it.
  5. I've had mine for years now. Took it out the box and let it get covered in dust. But I do enjoy looking at it. Inspires me to get the car back on the road asap
  6. Yep. That's a corrado for sure.
  7. Hi mate. No worries. Got everything I needed in the end and all decent parts. Just looked at a diagram and I snipped a wire when removing my old abs. As there was just one wire going into a plug with a few on it. It was yellow/black location D07 on fusebox. Says it's for abs pump relay. I joined the yellow/black wire from the teves20 loon to that wire the rest made sense I think.
  8. I always think the blue storms should of got the cream interior and vice versa.
  9. Hi Paul. Welcome to forum. It's a fantastic forum for knowledge and help with your corrado.
  10. Noticed that for sale at the beginning of the week and thought it seemed a good purchase. Could be worth something in a few years.
  11. Yeah, i looked online and triple checked, i remember at the time thinking it was right, but always seem to worry afterwards
  12. I think I cut a yellow/black wire to remove the old system. Then I joined the new loom to it. It also had a yellow/black wire. But it had a single connector on the end. Which I cut off. Thought it was odd as perks had it fitted to his so can't of cut that.
  13. As long as I can hear something that resembles music I'll be happy. May readdress it in the future but at least I can put dash back in now and crack on.
  14. Nice one. Will put it back then. Think I have got all the wires joined up in the fuse box. Hope I got it right. The wires matched colours that I joined together.
  15. 3 points, £60 fine. Thats what i got for 93mph in a 70mph. My mate behind me also got caught but at 82mph, he tried to contest it and pretend it must of been a cloned car, they ended up proving it was him due to his tesco parking sticker  he got about £400 fine, 3 points and charged with wasting police time.
  16. I thought they might and was going to trim them, but the cover fits back on over them, so left them.
  17. Another question. Do i need the brake switch that is mounted on the top front of pedal inside car? Or do i disconnect and remove that with this system?
  18. Looks a bit messy where i cut the old connector off with the dremel, but that will be hidden.
  19. I was running a stealth shelf with 6x9's before i took car off the road, i did like the extra bass but removed it all because it was all so heavy and a bit of rush job. Might try it without any rear speakers as i seem to off put a screw through the little 6x4's, they were also infinity stuff (last owner fitted them about 10yrs ago)
  20. Tried fitting them last night and they do stick up too much, i found out i could just turn the mount upside down and fit from underneath and the original grilles fit over them fine now.
  21. Loads of people seem to be really ill at the moment, they have it for over a week. I'm so glad i've missed it so far.
  22. Nice one, i like them, i think the silver will look good.
  23. Its going to look great on them, will suit your colour of corrado.
  24. I was only going to use vw bolts and they were something like £170. Managed to get some unused 2nd hand arps.
  25. Wellseal is what he told me to use, so i bought some
