Is it worth doing? Never actually had a working ABS for the 8yrs i've owned the car, its all unplugged at various points and someone cut the bulb out the dash light. I just thought while engine is out its a good chance to get it sorted out and then i can get my MOT anywhere instead of just one garage that lets it pass.

At least i think its called the Teves20, its the upgraded ABS system. Anyone got any pics or guide to the install? I bought all the bits from P3RKS, am just missing an ABS light so if anyone has details on that it would be good, something about a passat light and a corrado light needed iirc. All i have is a load of parts, i've got no idea on what goes where or which pipes i need etc :lol:

Fitted the oil catch can, pipework is rather chunky but i'll see how i can improve that once in the car. Gruvenparts aux water pump bracket, had it years so looking a bit old now. Going back to the spring type clips instead of jubilee clips. Also got old engine out on saturday morning Engine bay is a bit dirty but not really rusty, not sure i will spend ages cleaning it all up to spotlessly clean. Probably just give it a quick wipe.

Am sure there is also a way to measure the resistance of the sensor at varying temps. -

Yeah, the blue sensor talks to the ECU and i think if it has a problem the ECU uses a default setting to compensate. Could also be a sign of a vacuum/air leak. -
How much has been spent on your Corrado over the past 10 years?

I always tell myself I'd rather have a £4k car and spend £10k on it and still have a £4k car after 8yrs. Instead of having a £14k modern car for 8yrs. -
Am sure I remember people saying furniture polish on the belt was a trick to make them smoother.

Can try oiling it up. Best option is to buy a 2nd hand one. Easy to replace.

Looks a bit alarmy to me as well. Maybe for a siren/sounder unit. Usually mounted near the expansion tank.

Its the glass that cocks up HIDs, if you have all the reflector lines like the standard corrado lamps it mucks up the beam pattern of the HIDs, you need clear glass. Would like to see what Wendy has.

I started to try and make a set from some standard lights and some of those angel eye halo type, but i didn't get very far. Just have a pile of lights i took apart :lol: The trouble is you need a clear lense on the headlight, which the angel eyes have, i planned to use a normal corrado light, mount an HID unit in it, and then fit the clear lense, i also thought i could maybe mark out a circle on the lense and then blast or etch the rest of it so it looked bit more standard.

Can't remember who on here went through this recently. I want to change mine and have been told there is a different part to fit nowadays. Which also means changing a couple of other parts. Including the actual pedal.

What's the story with the 90mm and 50mm splitters? Which cars got which one as standard?
