  2. Part number comes up as a V-Belt cover, so should cover the belts/pulleys on the offside of the engine, behind the wheel
  3. I remember this car.. I'm usually of the opinion that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say a thing, but I'll make an exception. HIDEOUS! Here's the old thread http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=51398
  4. I think your top mounts are ok, they always look like that :)
  5. Just make sure you insist he hooks up the total closure (if you have it) It's been mentioned before in another thread, he didn't hook it up on mine & another member's car. Told me it was a safety feature of the new alarm so kids wouldn't trap their fingers in the closing windows.. The alarm he fits does actually have total closure, if fitted properly
  6. The real challenge is getting the large triangular plastic bit off without breaking it
  7. The Otto models sell out very quickly, you can subscribe to their newsletter, and they'll send out PDF's every couple of months. You can pre-order the models before they sell out :-) Got myself a few nice ones, Golf Limited, Rallye Golf, Corrado G60 and got an AMG Merc E60 on the way soon
  8. Yes, that's normal - the rear should work on it's own, but the fronts won't work unless the rear is on.
  9. Bought myself a brand new Bosch one a few months back on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/W-PUMP-INLINE-HEATER-MB-VAG-APPLICABLE-VW-GOLF-MK3-HATCHBACK-91-97-HATC-/321458824464 Their car compatibility thingy says it doesn't fit a Corrado VR6.. but it does :) (Took me a couple of days to convince them before they sent me it!)
  10. I've got a standard exhaust with 263's fitted and it does sound different, a bit quieter, probably like yours. When I had the standard cams, it sounded nicer IMO :)
  11. Maybe it's one of these links: http://www.ccgb.org.uk http://www.ccgb.org/
  12. I have one of those pressure bleeders, and would never go back to the old method of pumping pedal/topping up fluid /pumping... Well worth the money, given how easy it makes bleeding the entire system.
  13. Auxiluary water pump? That makes a buzzing noise when you put the key in
  14. Good on you, going through all this! :) I agree though, the tailpipe doesn't look quite right
  15. I've tried that one, worked fine for the front brakes on my Corrado and MK4 Golf. However I tried it on the rear calipers of the Golf, and the piston would not wind back.. Ended up breaking the tool, and it's replacement... Annoying, seeing as Halfords one I had to buy cost £30!! Had to take the caliper off the car, put it on a bench and put force on the piston whilst winding it with a socket extension attached to the circular disc from the windback tool. The same tool can be bought off ebay for about £8 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRAKE-CALIPER-REWIND-WIND-BACK-TOOL-R-H-THREAD-VW-AUDI-SKODA-SEAT-NEW-/310507201064
  16. Not usually a fan of those wheels, but they do look great on your car
  17. You mean the one which gives the 'outdoors' temperature on the MFA? That clips inside the bumper IIRC
