Unfortunately the pics were all uploaded as attachments.. I've got them on my hard drive, just a bit of pain to re-upload everything to an image host. And yep, it's a shame if a lot of the older threads have missing images, as I've bookmarked a lot of helpful threads over the years

Question for the admins - has something changed recently, as all the uploaded images on my members gallery thread seem to have vanished: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?12955-My-Mystic-Blue There were quite a few images in there (on page 1, page 2 etc.), but I've not actually looked at the thread for ages, so can't be sure when they vanished. The images weren't hosted on some external server, they were uploaded to the forum. Any ideas? Thanks

Hmm.. the pictures that were in this thread have all disappeared - any admin's know why? Billcor - it's around 99.5k miles I think

Hi Carl, Yep, still have the VR6 - lives in the garage and does very few miles a year :) Bought a shrick manifold a couple of years ago which I've never got round to fitting, and a set of 17" BBS RX2's, which also are not on the car. I think I prefer it as it is, slightly lower but pretty much standard looking

Nice garage! Well done with the progress on the car, I would have given up long ago :D

I'll take this please :) Will send you p/m

For all you model Collectors out there.

Nice one! Thanks for the heads up, will order a couple of the VR6's :) I've bought half a dozen Otto models since I first saw this thread, and never had a problem. Got one of their 1:12 red Golf G60's this week, looks amazing :) -

So, I saw this article today: http://www.heraldscotland.com/opinion/13713677.Joys_of_pootling_along_in_the_car/ She's actually defending the vandal who keyed the car.. wtf?!
-
Maybe one of the production team bought it ;)

I believe they mean part number 21 535853813A - CORRADO script 53585381301C - later style, no script

Don't think the running order is confirmed. My EPG says it's the Caterham next week, but the TV promo said it's the Panda 4x4, so it's anyone's guess

This has been doing the rounds today: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-33967375 What a scumbag.. needs to be hung by the testicles

Can anyone recommend a decent dash cam? Looking for something 1080p, compact/discrete so it won't be too noticeable if left on the windscreen. Not too concerned with it having GPS, just want decent quality recordings :)

There's a 'C' on the end :) 021121093C Number 28 in the pic

Nope, sorry that makes no sense to me. Nobody *wants* to pay too much for anything, but everything has a price and a buyer. These are obsolete parts, nobody is being forced to buy them. If someone wants them, they'll offer whatever they think they're worth. Some people think paying over £6k for a mint Corrado is madness, but someone who wants a mint one will no doubt pay that. It's a desirable car, almost a classic, and parts like these are hard to come by.
-
Not at all. These parts are obsolete, and you're entitled to ask whatever you like for them. Let's face it, any other classic car where parts are obsolete, you'd pay through the nose for spare parts. If someone wants them, they'll pay for it. It's hardly your fault that VW has stopped producing them... Anyone saying that it's immoral, or that you're taking the **** is living in cuckoo land. GLWS :)

Nice find! I've arranged to buy them, been looking for a set of these for ages :D

I remember reading somewhere a while back that BMW E30 fogs are pretty similar to those on the Corrado. No idea if they actually fit: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=63211468127

There's rumours that the fire in Holborn, nearby, might have been part of the robbery too.. I guess to knock out power/security? Sounds like a mission from GTA :)

The daft thing is that saying you keep your car in a locked garage seems to raise your premium the most. And saying it's on your driveway won't make it much cheaper.. If you say it's kept on the road, you'll most likely get the cheapest premium. From what I've read, garages are more likely to get broken into, because these days people tend to put possessions in there (rather than cars) And if your car is on the driveway, the potential thief will know that if they break into your home, your car is right there for them to take. If it's on the road, a burglar is unlikely to know which car is yours, so it's less likely to get stolen. Although it's clearly at greater risk from getting knocked into by someone careless, who can't park properly... I hate insurance, they seem to make up the rules as they see fit.

Wheeler Dealers - Corrado this autumn

Yeah, I'm sure it's bound to have a broken door handle, sunroof, bonnet cable + all of the above issues :D -
Mike Brewer's finally bought a Corrado for the show :) No idea what model though, but hope they don't ruin it like the RX-8.. (About 1min 50 into the video)
