  1. 'rado was supposed to be my daily driver and best at the same time... turns out that the VR don't really like the avg. 11mph commute though, so i kept my '97 ibiza cupra for nipping around the city in (plus i can fit it into smaller parking paces)... also have the wife's polo 1.4 if in real skin-flint transport mode or for visiting Tesco's as it at least has bump-strips to protect us from the numpties!!!
  2. wtf - i take it you're not working today if you've been drinking?!!??!
  3. yup, just one of these puglies... would have been a better to use the old '69 beasts (and yes, i mean the car)... there's bulges as big on that motor as her :)
  4. spankin' lookin' motor mister! i think you and Andy (iow_corrado_g60) are gonna have a challenge on for shiniest engine... :) where abouts in the UK are you... i'm sure i've seen an M-plate red VR just like that around Southampton??
  5. sorry da'... i'll go get me a sheet of A4 for the cuttin' and a can of Special Brew for the pain right now!!
  6. so, that'd make me your son-in-law??? DADDY!!!!!!!!!! :-P
  7. c'mon fellas... you can't talk about my Mum like that!!
  8. very tidy 8) ...when i'm eventually forced into requiring a 'family truckster' i think i'm sold on what to look for already! (don't think i've seen one in that colour before either)
  9. suspiciously too much glass... is it a 4-door or some kind of deviant stretch job?
  10. Furk'z - for you mister, i'll throw in the furniture
  11. for the record, i hate you... i feckin'bloody LOVE that colour!
  12. Sorry mate, can't shift my own mother at the moment!
  13. i looked at a couple of S2's about 2years ago when my car buying head switched on again... missed out on them both, sulked for another 6mths or so and then got turned back to Rados again. by the way - if this S2 you toyed with was on the M5 on Saturday, it was probably on it's way back from the Audi Day at Castle Combe (i was there too... albeit feeling sickly in my cousin's not quite track savvy A8 :gag: ) here's a couple of motor's i wouldn't have minded taking home...
  14. just been emailed these by a mate overseas... apparently it's a legitimate newspaper/billboard campaign in South Africa
  15. fastest thing i've driven is probably this bugger... nothing this heavy deserves to be able to go that fast: Bentley Arnage fastest owned is probably the VR... conservative me thinks i'll get into trouble otherwise. most interesting driven & owned however, (and easily among the slooooowest) has to be one of these two... Tatra 603 Auto Union Munga
  16. my (male) mate's boyfriend used to have one until someone referred to the things on the back as 'bummer-grips' (no offence intended to anyone here... or anywhere else for that matter  )
  17. ...if 'they' you mean P.A.'s, the first girl i was with after having it done nearly puked, then ran off and refused to have anything to do with me again, it worked for the second one and the third (my now wife) doesn't seem to have any complaints :-P i've had an ampallang done too (google it if you don't know or the Mods will be napalming me before home-time! ), twice - as first time i forgot to tighten the ball onto the bar and woke up in a boozy haze to find it had healed on one side and was just hanging out of the other :gag:
  18. ...yeah well, do or die i suppose  bizarrely, it's a nipple is the worse - with so many nerve endings there it's a real ba$tard... especially if you get stuck in a car park and have to fling yourself over a 9ft fence!
  19. ...entertainment not up to much in Swindon at the moment? seriously, doesn't sound like fun. it does remind me of when i got my first piercing done though... there's something disconcerting about seeing a condom full of blood! :pukeright:

  22. ...hmm, i'm in Southampton - can you PM the details as i'm curious as to whether it's the same place i use already or not? ...and to echo Toad, if you want to pop along and say hi a group of us are meeting at Otterbourne on Saturday afternoon.
  23. ??? ...not wallet drain like the rest of us then??
  24. like double-6s said, they were featured on the 'Rogue Traders' show on BBC not so long ago... it's a scam. the appropriate pop culture reference is 'Run Luke, Run!'
