I had the same problem: All sorted now,there is 3 white multi plugs in the back of the fusebox(for the engine harness) it turned out to be the middle plug,gave it a wiggle & "o happy day" It was looked in place with that fusebox locking bar aswel? So by the looks if your vr conks out check ign switch,fuses,relays 109,167 & this connector on back of fusebox

To take the lot out youll have to remove dash to get the heater box out,it will be worth doing to sell it all on,I have a later style complete heater box if needed?

When you swapped the transponder box, did you change the chip in the key and recode the engine ECU to the new transponder box or use the matching ECU? yes change the ecu,transponder box & key,the oil pressure light isnt comin on,im wondering if only half the fusebox is getting power or a bad earth somewhere?

Has anyone got a accurate wiring diagram for a 1994/95 c vr6,ive had a look at those Russian ones & they dont seem the same wiring colours or positions on ecu wiring. Ive also seen the autodata ones,they dont seem very accurate either :(
