Ive just bought an 2001 bora 24v 4motion,I want to advertise the fact that im breaking it,but how much should I ask for the complete engine/gearbox etc?

Could you tap a small hole using self tapper screw then screw the screw in & pull out using pliers or such like,if it was bigger just tap in a flat blade screwdriver & prise out. To replace clean up the hole,get a socket that will fit into the head of the core plug & gently tap home trying to keep it square. -

switch=7D0 947 563 A=£4.03 for 2 Rubber gasket=113 947 565 A=£1.66 for 2 -
looking at some pics of that coil pack its just the connector that different between the vr one & your wifeys car. Just get a vr one,take the plastic off the top (where the part number is & where it might say BERU) undo the 4 x 8mm nyloc nuts & swap the connector for wifeys. Job done

I have a 1996 vr fan set up with the bigger style corrado vr type fan. You could could the plastic rad subframe down & use that,I had the deeper golf vr rad on my car for couple of years.
