  1. Has anyone out there have a pic of a clifford alarm rocker switch for turning the alarm on & off? Ive had all the wires come off my rocker switch & I dont think Ive solder them on in the right places!? My alarm was a concept 50
  2. I have a spare pump & aux pump/fan relay box if you need one?
  3. If your using std audi ecu you'll have to use the chipped key from the 3.2 audi (or if like me gently prise open the flip key & winkle out the chip & put back in your old key) Youll also need the matching speedo head unit, think there is a chip of sorts in there as well. What do your clocks look like re-assembled dude?[/quote:a56b8] I used the corrado reader coil, key etc to keep the ign from the corrado, just swapped the chips over. The clocks fitted quite nice, just cut off the plastic fixings on the mk4 speedo, defo alot better for the corrado, all I have to do is make up a speedo surround using a corrado front & extending to reach the mk4 clocks. In hind sight it might of been easier to loose the mk4 speedo clear front? The mk4 clocks are piece of pi$$ to wire up,the only thing im having trouble wire is this clutch switch(which keeps breaking ) & the fuel gauge which works arse backward to the corrado ones.

  5. I reckon there the clutch switch wires, check it out to where its suppose to go (T121/39) on pin 39 of the ecu
  6. I have a complete sunny cassette, ready to be fitted if you want one,I'll even give you a hand fitting it if needed?

  8. On the phone to HIC today to get a quote, telling them about all my mods on me c,waiting for them to say "car insurance, youve no chance with them mods" With engine, gearbox, suspension, leather interior, exhaust swaps inc track day cover, legal protection,£150 excess,£500 audio cover=£267 fully comp   Im totally gob smacked!!!!!!! It will be on classic car insurance cos its a 1990 car Defo worth giving them a ring
  9. We used std r32 ecu,loom,mk4 clocks,6 speed gearbox My c is a 1990 car,Nearly everything on the mk4 clocks work like mfa, temp gauge, some fault codes, the only prob Im having with mine now is the the engine check lite is coming on because the ecu is trying to find the abs which isnt on the car. 10. Think theres a couple of micro switches behind the outer door handles cos you can take the windows up or down by locking/unlocking the drivers door. They defo dont have anything to back the window off when theres something in the way(i know ive had my fingers trapped :bad-words:  )
  11. :D You wanna buy the whole thing off me? Had considered breaking it, but have nowhere to store it as I live in a first floor flat and have no drive. I can't even park outside, I have to go two streets away. Its actually in pretty good nick, everything works and the paint isn't too pink either. Bummer. Seems like such a waste considering how rare the Corrado is, especially as it seems like a lot have been broken up recently. I might be interested, any more details or pics pls?
  12. Im breaking a bora 4 motion with vented discs on the rear(size 256x22mm) Any idea if these calipers would fit,but without the discs or would both fit?
  13. Sounds like the fan relay box by your header tank

  15. I might have some golf 288s for sale soon,pm me if your interested
  16. Right,I have fitted a resistor where the flapper valve should be,its taken out both engine warning lights, the car drives a lot better, but when you get to around 4k revs, change gears & the revs dont drop? Ive checked the wiring to the clutch switch & there defo going to the right places,Ive bridged the female connection to the clutch switch & the revs are no difference? Ive also put a multi meter to the actual clutch switch,on pushing the plunger-nothing,Im using the right switch for the chassis number, but to me it looks like a brake switch?
  17. Ive just changed the maf,no difference, but I ran the engine with no maf & that didnt make any difference? Im just wondering if its the clutch switch,it seems to be holding the revs during gearchanges
  18. Just finishing off my R32 engine conversion in my corrado,Im having a slight running problem, the car is driving like a bag of shoot. Im using engine,02m gearbox, std ecu,dbw throttle etc, driving the car it seems to have no adjustment on the throttle(you just touch the throttle & it revs quite high) lots of jerking,Im having to pull away in 2nd. I have the clutch & brake switches wired up ok Because my car is 1990 I have no abs etc,the fault codes are:exhaust flapper thingy & abs not connected to the drivetrain?
  19. I having the same prob with mine,I think the nut (under the top strut nut) is too big
  20. Thats what Im using on my corrado, first time on the road today. I had some driveshafts made up for around £500 My prob being is Im breaking a bora 4motion & I dont know how much trouble would it be to 4wd it? Oh by the by Ill have a 6 speed gearbox available if anyone wants one?
