Well I have done quite a bit of work to my raddo since I've had it and done no more than 300 mile in it.. So I've taking some more pics today at work after buying some super shiny TT Competition rims off Slimbo :thumb right: I put them on just for that day to see what they look like and they look the nuts :luvlove: ,just need it dropping about an inch and I will be one happy bunny. :albino: -
Well I wish it had enough power to pull this lot
-
It will have common fuel rail and therefore electronic fuel injectors like a petrol car but the derv runs 80volts to the injectors instead of 12volts. It also has about 800-2000bar of pressure in the rail.. These are prone to screwing up and is soooooooooooooooo expensive to renew. That's why I stick with petrol 8)

do you live on a farm !!
-
want some fiddle work
-
depends what will happen to car in workshops and the standards of the repairer,if it is properly masked off it will be fine from overspray, grinding ect...
-
Just the quarters, the front window seal(trim) is the same as the rear. No point taking them out because you will gain nothing.
-
Only glass needed out are the rear quarters ,even the rear glass rubber trim just pulls out and the door rubbers ....just remove them and mask up top half of door.

Most of my parts i get dieect from VW cos they are cheaper than the rest + the quality  and the fact ive got a mate who works there and get good discount

ohhhh.....look at me smashing car up...ooohhhhhhh :nono:

They are using a laptop now !! And attach some sort of gizmo to the area that needs sorting and it gets treated with heat controlled by laptop !! No need for bashing....crazy stuff

The bottom picture is supposed to have a hot air feed pipe from the exhaust.but I would leave it off.Its not needed. As long as the top half of airbox is correctly connected it should run,if there is a pipe off ect from the air filter up the engine will not be able to draw the metering flap up and allow fuel into engine. The top picture is a wire? Unsure of what this does.

take out clocks and go down the road watching your speedo cable rotating,if it is, its the speedo head, if it doesn't turn its the...yip you guessed it :-P Make sure the cable are connected correctly in gearbox and speedo end.

It is a Water by pass valve..(I forgot about this) its to stop the matrix springing leaks under Heavy pressure?! or something like that. These were prone to fu**ing up. it might be worth while to connect the heater hoses together eliminating the by-pass-valves to check matrix in case the valves are faulty.
-
It does sound like a flow problem more than a thermostat ect...due to only one hose getting hot. Try removing both pipes from matrix and stick a garden hose on,open the tap and stick them in both ends of the matrix pipes and note water flow volume. You will get an idea of how much water passes through Try bleeding the coolant system aswell. If ALL hoses are hot and still one matrix hose is hot it will be blocked or you will be getting air into coolant system ect.

Ends up like this....My mate glen holding dash 2 years ago in winter... :bigsmurf:
-
It is not as bad as you think.....get stuck in befor it gets colder :x-mas:
-
the way the heater box is mounted to the firewall it is not possible to do it in place,if someone has done it in place i cant c the point as it would take longer to work around the dash.

check the amp draw with a multimeter, pull out each fuse and watch the multimeter to eliminate each circuit, disconnect amplifier ect and you will find out the cause.if all is ok disconnect the alternator lead to eliminate that aswell.
