What are you thinking! Good Corrados are hard to find, good silver ones are almost impossible!

I wrecked the underseal at the points where I used a two post lift to raise the car, but that was a month or so after I refurbished it so it was still soft- so I re applied the underseal and just made some 3/4" ply plates with foam tops (camping mat cut up) to spread the load and no damage was done second time round. A rotisserie is what you need really isn't it? No more lying underneath the car getting grit in your eyes/ mouth, aching arms, sore neck, etc

Separate ecu's for drivechain and engine Kev, they do talk to each other though.

16" space saver from mk3 GTi works buddy, still have to swap with the back wheel though, but fits easily over 280 rears. -
Becker Indianapolis is probably as OEM looking as you will find, such as below. But they don't often come up in Green lighting (this one is yellow- I asked) But they do feature satnav which is handy. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Becker-Indianapolis-7920-Automotive-GPS-Receiver-extras-/170832474483?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item27c668b173

Renshaw project (probably going to sell / swap)
KipVR replied to 24V Renshaw's topic in Members Gallery
It is a nice conversion to do and in my opinion improves the car a fair amount, but like you I wouldn't bother to do it unless the original one broken. --- -
Funny you should dig this thread out, I'm meeting the guy who does our seating at work this week, I was going to give him a corrado bolster to copy and get some prices to see if it's worth it. That stuff above is what you use to mould foam, but you have to have something to pour it into- ie a mould of some kind.

This is great work Jay, a great set of choice mods too. Your C couldn't have landed in better hands! -

I'll take a kit. £80 kit. --- -
Hey Pete yeah you should come round this way, loads has been done since your last visit. Even started clearing a space on the garage for the return of m62 rax! Mk5 is great, engine very dull though! ---

Cheers Mate! I'm going to try and make it to some shows this year, put a few faces to the posts :-)

Not much of an update, just like this pic!

You couldn't find a better colour to change it to anyway! Everyone knows Mystic Corrados are the fastest. Erm, let me think about your offer? ...No

The Monkey's Daily - Mk2 Golf GTi 8v [straight through MOT]

I replaced it with a Mk5 GT Tdi, I'm now getting about 55mpg rather than the 38ish from the Mk2 but more importantly I can cruise at higher speeds without feeling the engines about to explode.. My journey time has decreased so I can get there earlier and start billing sooner! I'll still end up loosing money from the depreciation anyway, but it's just a more comfortable ride. 80miles each way. -

Too many miles to be covered, needed more mpg... -
Also meant to say the third switch I think turns the fans on if the air is too hot under the bonnet.

Put 12v across the new pump to see if it is working ok.
-
In all honesty i would save yourself the bother and heartache and get the correct bosch one.
-
Are you actually running all four lambdas? Or have 2 been deleted?

Hey Jon good to see you fixing up the mk2, I've sold mine recently :-( How did the lbj extender go? -
Is it front grill or front grille !?
-
Cheers pal, not really sure what is going to happen in the future, I'm going to do everything I can to enable me to keep the car and build the garage, but I will at the very least have a good summer in it, then possibly put it back to standard bar the engine conversion- I kind of regret modding a storm! As for an amount, god knows what it's worth, I have no idea.

Hate the lack of cupholder in the Rado? I had an idea..
KipVR replied to bristolbaron's topic in Interior
If you vac form it you can use textured plastic, so no need to cover it.
