  1. I would presume they would fit (if they are the same I doubt), but also the KW's are the same for the whole Corrado line...:)
  2. Also make sure that there is good "ground" connections around the bay, engine etc....
  3. I would check out other things first, as the engine speed sensor will throw errors if the car isn't running.....:) And it's not a crank sensor, it is called the engine speed sensor and it's located near the oil-filter area on front of the engine...;)
  4. Maybe not exactly "today", but atleast last thing I did: removed rear axel and made the brake calipers/carriers ready to meet Bigg red....:)
  5. It's something like this: http://www.germanautoparts.com/Volkswag ... lutch/54/2
  6. Ok, can't remember exactly now but it might be a bit better room if you remove the fans and radiator also, I did this on mine (as I pretty much have disasembled the whole car), but not sure if you realy need to....my ac "radiator" is still on there though. As the car sits today: EDIT: apart from that the "undertray" thingy there is painted....:)
  7. Not realy much hasle to take out the engine, basicly just undo some of the electric, the driveshafts need disconnecting, and the 3 engine mounts + exhaust. The engine might have to be "tilted a bit to get it out of the engine bay - I removed the bonnet also, but not realy sure you have to do that (removed it cause I'm doing quite a bit of work on the car......)
  8. thnx, that pic should help me out yea. will have a look tomorrow, thnx
  9. ok, any pics of this mechanism ?. And do you mean push back the seat and then pull it up from behind?
  10. Any tips on how to remove the rear seats so I can disconnect the ABS sensors?
  11. Tried a wisegrip to no avail, the bleed nipple is rounded of, any tips on how to get it out from the caliper?. Just thought I'd check before getting the sledgehammer :)
  12. Magnecore leads are also good ones - been having them on my Passat for years......and they have some that will fit the plastic...:)
  13. As long as they slam that R32/R36 in there it will all be good....:)
  14. Corrado's have airbags? Hehe, some of the laters one did........:), but will put this thread back on track now....lol...;)
  15. Anyone happen to have pics of purple (LK4Z - black berry?) Corrado with black or red brake calipers?
  16. Good to hear....:) On my way to do the rear as well........still not finished with the front but......lol :) It will never end.......;)
  17. From your previous car I know you did all the MK4 dash thingy, do you have any idea if a MK4 R32 stearing wheel (with airbag) would be possible to fit into a Corrado that have original airbags?......or is it a complete replacement of pretty much everything that has to do with airbags etc?. a bit off topic, but just thought I'd ask...;)
  18. It's pos 12, but seem to be this: N 102 302 01 EDIT: didn't see the attatched file...;)
  19. Some small updates - things takes time....:) Subframe almost finished assembled, with new R32 rear bushings, new front bushings: New ball joint and swaybar end link: The wheelhub and dirt shields: More dirt shields and wheelhubs: And finaly a bad shot of the wheel"house" with new Volkswagen Long life Underseal: All parts from the Stealer...;)
  20. Sure do, I presume this is the way it supposed to be? (atleast that's what I made out from the thread above?)
  21. No one who knows?... Sorry for bumping - in the middle of the thing so a bit in a "rush" if anyone happen to know...;)
  22. The "plate" on the wishbone that holds the swaybar-link is it supposed to point up or downwards? I would say downwards due to the fact that the plate holding the end-link-joint thingy seem to rest better on that side?...
