It's the front passenger one but if I was replacing one side, I'd most likely do the other too. The Mk3/4 conversion is for the back end is it not?

Don't want to worry u too much but AFAIK you're not supposed to mix different brakefluid grades in the same system. i.e.you will currently have dot4 in the part of the system that u couldn't bleed !! So far as I'm aware when the brakefluid grade is changed - the WHOLE system MUST be bled, even if that means replacing the caliper that u can't bleed. IMO - stick with dot4 brakefluid - dot5.1 is only required in very extreme circumstances - such as racing cars, etc. For anyone else considering changing to dot5.1, my advice is dont - stick with the grade that the system was designed for - dot4 !! Oh shit!!!!

Got mine in to the AA garage joined onto my work today and got them to stick in some 5.1 (F.O.C. I might add) and they could only bleed 3 pipes as the bleeding nipple on the front passenger side had seized. Any tips on how to unseize it without threading anything? I've tried the heat it up method with no sucess. Can't afford anything expansive (brembo's would be great but then i'd need to buy new rims and KA-Ching!) so would like to get this sorted asap. Thanks in advance

Cheers guys!!! Andrew - lol - true mate, true (but not in a gay way mind) :-P seanoVR - sttelies staying for now as the car pulls them off quite well and I'm skint at the mo Bobby - the rear diffuser was an old 90mm front spoiler turned upsidedownand cut to fit Roddy - bargain mate, bargain, cheers to you and Martaay (lets not forget Lucy either) All I need to do now if fit my Black dash, carpets and trim bits and it'll be 98% complete on the inside. Needs respray and alloys, going for 16 inch "top secret for now" rims. I'll update when more gets fitted and I can get some better exterior shots

Some updated pics with my new 50mm front spoiler, supersprint exhaust and removal of rear underbumper spoiler. There is also one (with part obscured by a red cloth) of before and after my new black carpets (yet to be fitted). Not the best pics as it was about to piss it down but if you compare them to the old pics you get the idea. It looks and sounds like a new car, I love it even more

As you may or may not be aware, I have a set of late G60 clocks for sale and Mr Supercharged has expressed an interest but would like to know the mileage on them first of all. My question is:- Is there any way to check the mileage on the clocks without plugging them into my dashboard? Could I just find the positive and negative pins and stick a 9v battery across it? Just want to find out so I can get these sold. Thanks

I'm going to be getting a momo wheel soon but there is some confusion regarding the boss. There are to part numbers listed for the VW boss' but it doesn't say which one will do which cars. Can someone with a J-plate 92 G60 (and a momo steering wheel) please check their boss and tell me if the number resembles either of the following: - MC8010 ML8014 Cheers, Graeme

Could also be the fuse which is ontop of the main fusebox in it's own little holder. Easy to miss it so keep your eyes open for it.

20% off Wheels at Halfords - Now up to 25% off!
biggrim replied to Tattie's topic in Suppliers Forum
While we're on the subject of Halfords sales, anyone in the vicinity of Greenock might want to pop along to the Halfords there on the weekend of June 5th and 6th as it is being converted to an Arcade format store. This means that for that weekend only, there will be 20% off EVERYTHING in the store (not sure about items already on offer such as wheels) but worth checking out anyway. -

|Before spending cash on replacing the discs, take them off and give both them and the mounting surface a good clean. Apparently if this is not done when the discs are changed it can lead to them not sitting flush and straight and can lead to the symptoms you describe. Might well be a warped disc, but check this, and the other things people have mentioned first before spending.

Good to see that the taxpayers money is being well spent :( Did someone on here not say a while back about an unmarked FERRARI being used or did I dream that one up?
