yup, we've got a Rolling road session at Stealth a week on sunday (25th July) 8) Come along... 8)
-
Looks like Yosemite to me... 8) Cool photo anyway! :D *edit* I DID put that before Jedi replied, 'cos I've been there too! 8) :)
-
Look in my gallery... I've got a Lupo rear wiper on my 'rado... It's the passenger front arm, with the spare drivers blade JB Welded onto the original Corrado base and hinge... 8)

stel g60, do you mind if I pinch those pics to use as I write up a nice "how to" guide? I've not got any pics of mine being fitted as I just wanted to get the damned thing back in one piece again!
-
*Cough* FORUM! *Cough*
-
Yup, same on the G60 too... :x
-
Welcome! 8) Hope you're prepared for the inane grinning that can only be produced from owning and driving a Corrado! :D 8)
-
I've already changed my switch, so I'll only be doing photos as I'm now changing all the locks on the car so that they all work off one new key... 8)
-
I'd also advise replacing the plastic housing as they get brittle with age and will almost certainly crack as you tighten it back up again... for the £5 they cost, it's not worth the hassle! ;) :D

http://www.egauges.com list loads of senders, but none for a 170 degree gauge... :? However.... ;) My VDO gauges for my MKI golf, (which are out of an Audi 80 sport) just happen to have a 60-170 oil temp gauge and sender with some numbers on it.... 8) x49 919 563B I can't read the first number 'cos it's scratched... :?
-
Looks damned good matey! :) Deffo needs to be 1024x768 though... Can you add in my ignition switch replacement as well please? It's only text, but there's likely to be photos sooner or later! ;) it's here
-
I can see many a third degree burn to peoples calfs as they try and get in or out of the car though...
-
Pretty certain it's in the same place as the rest of VW's 4 cylinder engines... In the plastic lower fitting on the waterpump itself...
-
true Steve, but it's the same as a VR6's 1st gear... :|
-
nope, no ideas... Sorry... :?
-
Sanj, Check the wiring to the sender and if it's OK, then put in a new temp sender, odds are either the sender of the connection's died... 8)
-
there's a couple above the fuse box... just above the relays... 8)
-
Buy and fix BOTH... 8) 1.8 16V engines can be found easily and cheaply enough (I've got 2 of them in my parents garage! :| ) and they're a doddle to work and learn on... Parts for 'em are cheap and readily available too... 8) You're more likely to get less hassle trying to sell a non-modified nice clean car than one with an engine transplant... ;) Also if it's only light damage, repair the 2.0 as well, or, if the body's too far gone, break that one up as you'll get more for the later parts than you would for the earlier 1.8 bits... 8) A 2.0 16V engine should pull in some good money (Think PhatVR6 is selling his at the moment for a tidy amount! ;) ) and then all the later dash, switches, seats, door cards etc etc etc should make a nice wedge.... 8)
-
I'm pretty certain that the rear wiper is the same on ALL corrados be they left or right hand drive, older or newer style... 8) I'll check it in Etka tonight... 8)
-
2nd gear on a standard G60 is crap... I've now got a different (VR6) ratio in mine and get around 64 in second... Problem is that I can still spin straight through 1st and 2nd... :|
-
I'll see what I can do for ya when I get home.... ;)
-
ah rear subframe.... Nope, you don't have to prat about with that to change the mount... 8)
-
eh? the rear beam has nothing to do with the engine mounts... :| I think that someone's got you all confused about the rear exhaust section which goes over the rear axle beam... that's the bit that's a pig to do if you're fitting OE parts as you may have to drop the rear beam to get it over... The rear engine mount isn't that difficult to do, and at the VERY worst, you can always remove the 4x 17mm bolts from the back of the block which hold on the metalwork for the engine mount onto the engine to give yourself some extra room... 8)

Normal G60 values are around these (from the top of my head) 1st = about 30 2nd = about 52 3rd = about 85 4th = around 120 (I think, don't think I've ever redlined 4th...) 5th = around 150 at redline
